Interview Questions
1. Introduce yourself/ tell me yourself.
Ans: My full name is Mst. Mansura Jahan. Family members, friends and other well
wishers call me by my last name, Jahan. Basically, I am from Rangpur district which is the
northern part of Bangladesh. My academic schooling was Science in both Secondary and
Higher Secondary Examination.
2. What is your result?
Ans: The result of my Secondary School was GPA 5:00 out of 5:00 scale, and GPA 4.67
out of 5:00 was the Higher Secondary one.
3. Why did you choose this university?
Ans: Tongmyong University is one of the most well-known universities in South Korea. I
have chosen this university because of its plenty of positives perspectives, such as
outstanding academic curriculum, world class education, multi-cultural environment and
so on.
4. Why did you want to study in South Korea?
Ans: South Korea is one the most advanced technologically. and economically rich
country in the whole world. I have chosen South Korea as my education destination
because South Korean Education is widely recognized across the world. Furthermore,
the multi-cultural environment of study, rich culture, disciplines, dedication to duties
always attract me to study there.
5. Why did you choose AI and Computer Engineering?
Ans: Well, during this modern era, no one can think a single moment without computer
because all the tasks are done by computer. However, AI is considered to be a recent
revolution of twenty first century because our life is being continuously made easy and
simple by means of AI. For instance, doctors are now using AI in operation theatre
because of its error-free circumstances. That is why, I chose this subject.
6. Will you do Masters and PhD?
Ans: Yes, I have a great intention of doing Masters and PhD with a view to acquiring
much knowledge in this field.
7. What is your goal?
Ans: The goal of my life is to secure higher education in AI and Computer Engineering so
that I can implement this knowledge in later life in my country.
8. How will this program help you achieve your goal?
Ans: My career plan is connected with technology from my childhood so that I can serve
my country as much as possible because my country is still technologically backward. So,
this program will help me achieve my goal very easily.
9. What is your strength and weakness?
Ans: Well, in terms of strength, I have enough ability to adapt to any kind of difficult
situation. In addition, I can simultaneously do more than one task within a certain
period. For example, leading my academic sessions, I involved in doing voluntary tasks,
group works, problem solving issue, language club and so on. But homesickness is my
weakness.
10. What is the benefit of university of admitting you?
Ans: I am a very energetic person because I have much enthusiasm on any sort of task.
Consequently, if I get chance to this university, I can prove myself here with my potential
capabilities like I can co-operate any arrangement very conveniently because of having
prior experiences.
11. What is your future or What do you want with this degree?
Ans: After completing my academic journey, I want to engage myself in this field of my
own country implementing knowledge what I would learn from this course because my
country is technologically backward.
12. Do you have any leadership skills?
Ans: Yes, I have some leadership skills during my academic life. First of all, last year I was
appointed as Chief of Youth of Red Crescent Society of my School Branch where I taught
new apprentices about how to rescue human being during any natural disaster such as
flood and earthquake as well. Furthermore, I had experiences of arranging picnic tour
more than once in my high school life.
13. How will you adapt to Korea as a new comer?
Ans: I have enough capabilities to adapt myself in any new destination because I am a
very patient, industrious and self-motivated person. And that is why, I think that I will be
able to adapt with overall Korean culture, although initially I have to face the harsh
moment there.
14. Tell us about a challenge you faced and how you handled it?
Ans: Two years earlier, my younger brother gave a mathematical problem to solve, but
unfortunately at the first glance, I failed to solve the sum correctly. Then, I tried once
and again to solve the sum, and afterwards, I successfully solved the sum.
15. Who is your sponsor or Who will bear your educational expense?
Ans: My father is my sponsor who will bear all the educational expenses, living costs and
others as long as I will stay in Korea. My father has enough ability to bear my expenses
because my father is profession by a businessman who has two business that are show
room of clothes and poultry.
