AutoQuoterX II Installation instructions
Launch the Autodesk® product you wish to use with AutoQuoterX II™.
At the command line Type MENULOAD , click the Browse button
At the bottom of the Select File Dialog Box, change the file types to *.CUI.
Browse to the folder where you installed AutoQuoterX II™
C:\Program Files\8020\AutoQuoterXII or C:\Program Files(x86)\8020\AutoQuoterXII
Select the file AutoQuoterX_NET.CUI. Click the Open button
Click the Load button then Close to finish the installation.
Your AutoQuoterx II toolbar will now be loaded.
Troubleshooting AutoQuoterX II
** If you Do Not see the toolbar **
At the command line. Type: -toolbar (enter) autoquoterx_II (enter) show (enter)
** If you see the toolbar but get an “Unknown command 82” message **
At the command line. Type: netload (enter) Browse to the folder where you installed AutoQuoterX II™
C:\Program Files\8020\AutoQuoterXII or C:\Program Files(x86)\8020\AutoQuoterXII
• If using AutoCAD 2007-2009 select: AutoQuoterXNet17.dll then open
• If using AutoCAD 2010-2012 select: AutoQuoterXNet18.dll then open
• If using AutoCAD 2013 select: AutoQuoterXNet19.dll then open
** Errors writing to the database, .cui file .cuix file, or an error running the BOM **
This indicates that the user does NOT have full control of the AutoQuoterX II folder.
• If the user has sufficient control over folder permissions then proceed with the following
instructions.
• If not, then contact your computer support personal to change the folder security permissions to
allow the user FULL control of the AutoQuoterX II folder.
Browse to the C:\Program Files (x86)\8020\AutoQuoterX II or C:\Program Files\8020\AutoQuoterX II
folder.
Right click on the folder and select Properties / Security tab.
Users should have Full Control. If they do not, click Edit.
Select: Users / Full Control / Apply / OK
