READERS’ THEATER
CONTEST RULES AND MECHANICS:
 The competition is open to grade 9 students only.
 All members must have a role and participate in the presentation.
 The delivery is inclusive of the entrance and exit shall be between 5-7 minutes.
 The participants may use props or any material to support the character they’re portraying.
 Mechanically or instrumental sound effects are not allowed. However, vocally emitted noises and
sound effects created by the performers are permissible.
