MAJOR THEMES
VANITY. The word vanity (hevel) and the longer refrain vanity of vanities (hevel hevalim) OUTLINE OF THE BOOK

The Preacher’s message is this: Life is difficult and then you die. Ultimately there
is no meaning in life. We can’t find meaning in wisdom because we can’t even SUPPLEMENTAL RESOURCES
