Before Class Activities:
1) Learning Objective: Familiarize learners with the topic and content of the upcoming lesson
Outcome: Learners will demonstrate an understanding of the topic with basic concepts.
Activity: Assign pre-lesson tasks such as watching a short video, pre-quizzes, games and asking
learners to write down unfamiliar vocabulary and try to guess the meaning from context.

Step 2: Student’s gain familiarity with new material before class
To make it easier for students to familiarize themselves with new material before class, a
combination of educational materials and resources adapted to students' preferences and learning
style will be used.
The lesson will be taught with the coursebook "Navigate" for the Pre-Intermediate B2 level. The
book will help you to fully familiarize with the new topic, guide you through the whole course
and complete appropriate tasks/activities.
Video materials: Providing video materials gives students the opportunity to study at their own
pace and return to the material as needed.
Other materials: Using platforms such as Canva, you can create interactive presentations to
engage students with visually appealing graphics, animations, and interactive elements.
Strengthening the knowledge that will be gained from the lesson, the Quizlet, Google forms will
also be used. These platforms will help you to learn new words, view grammar constructions,
useful phrases that will be studied during the lesson.

Gamification: Incorporate elements of game design such as points, levels, challenges, or
rewards into learning activities to increase motivation and engagement.
