Scene Scripts

Scene 1: Discovery of the Wardrobe

Setting: Professor Kirke’s house and the snowy woods of Narnia.
Characters: Lucy, Mr. Tumnus.

[Lucy, exploring an old room in the Professor’s house, curiously opens a large wardrobe.
She pushes past fur coats, only to step into a snowy wood. She shivers, taking in her
surroundings.]
Lucy: (Gasps) Snow? But… this is impossible. (Steps further, gazing around in amazement)
Where am I?
[Mr. Tumnus appears from behind a tree, nervously stepping toward her.]
Mr. Tumnus: (Clears throat) Excuse me... Are you...are you a Daughter of Eve?
Lucy: (Confused) I’m… I’m Lucy. And you are...?
Mr. Tumnus: (Bow deeply) I am Mr. Tumnus, a faun. You’ve stumbled into Narnia, Lucy.
Lucy: (Excited) Narnia? So, this place is real! What a wonderful place!
Mr. Tumnus: (Sighs sadly) It was once. But now, under the rule of the White Witch, it is always
winter here... and never Christmas.
Lucy: That’s terrible! Who is this White Witch?
Mr. Tumnus: (Looking around, nervous) She is our ruler, but she’s cold-hearted and cruel. No
one is safe under her rule.
Lucy: (Resilient) Well, maybe that will change. (Extends her hand) Come on, Mr. Tumnus, let’s
get out of this cold together.
[They exit, forming an unlikely friendship.]
Scene 2: The Pevensies Enter Narnia
Setting: Mr. Beaver’s cozy house in Narnia.
Characters: Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy, Mr. Beaver, Mrs. Beaver.

[The Pevensies enter Narnia through the wardrobe. They follow the snowy path until they
arrive at Mr. Beaver’s house.]
Mr. Beaver: (Opening door, warmly) Come in, come in! Quickly now, we don’t want any
unfriendly eyes watching.
Lucy: (Happily) It’s so cozy here, thank you!
Mrs. Beaver: (Handing out warm drinks) Here, something to warm you all up. So, you’re the
Pevensie children, are you?
Peter: (Nods) We are. Lucy told us all about Narnia and the White Witch. Is it true?
Mr. Beaver: (Gravely) All of it, I’m afraid. But there is hope. Aslan, the true king, is on the
move. He is the only one who can defeat her.
Susan: (With hope) Aslan…who is he?
Mrs. Beaver: (Softly) He’s a lion, but more than that. He’s power, wisdom, and goodness. And
according to the prophecy, you four are meant to help him.
Peter: (Thoughtful) So, we’re part of this? All of us?
Edmund: (Skeptical, half-hearted) Sounds like a fairy tale. How can a lion end a winter?
Mr. Beaver: (Firmly) You’ll see, young one. Just follow Aslan, and you’ll understand.
Lucy: (Looking at her siblings) I believe in him. Don’t you?
[They all nod, feeling a growing sense of purpose.]
Scene 3: Edmund Betrays the Group
Setting: The White Witch’s icy castle.
Characters: Edmund, The White Witch.

[Edmund, alone and trembling in the icy castle, is led into the throne room where the
White Witch waits impatiently.]
White Witch: (Silky, yet dangerous) So, you’ve returned. I hope you’ve brought something
useful for me.
Edmund: (Hesitantly) I…I told you where my siblings are. They’re with the Beavers, and
they’re waiting for…Aslan.
White Witch: (Angrily) Aslan? They dare to follow that old fool? I had hoped you would be
smarter, Edmund.
Edmund: (Defensive) But you promised…you said I’d be a prince. (Pauses, looking down) I
want...I want my family to be safe.
White Witch: (Cold laugh) Safe? Your family will be safe when they kneel before me. Bring
them to me, Edmund, and you’ll have power beyond your dreams.
[Edmund swallows hard, still caught between fear and ambition, before nodding, his face
full of conflict.]
Scene 4: Aslan’s Camp
Setting: Aslan’s camp.
Characters: Peter, Susan, Lucy, Aslan, Mr. Beaver, Mrs. Beaver.

[The Pevensies enter Aslan’s camp, and all movement stops as they see Aslan. He stands
regally, surveying them with a kind but penetrating gaze.]
Aslan: (Warmly) Welcome, sons of Adam and daughters of Eve. I’ve been waiting for you.
Peter: (In awe, stepping forward) Aslan… We’ve heard so much about you.
Aslan: (Nods) There is much to be done. And you, Peter, will lead the others. Your courage has
brought you this far.
Lucy: (Timidly) Aslan…our brother, Edmund. He’s in danger, isn’t he?
Aslan: (Solemn) Yes. But even he deserves a second chance, just as we all do. Redemption
comes to those who seek it.
Susan: (With confidence) We’ll fight beside you, Aslan. For Narnia.
Aslan: (Smiling) Then you have already begun to win.
[They gather around Aslan, preparing for the battle ahead, feeling strengthened by his
presence.]
Scene 5: The Battle
Setting: Battlefield in Narnia.
Characters: Peter, Edmund, Aslan, The White Witch, others.

[The battlefield is tense. The White Witch and her army approach from one side, and
Aslan’s forces, led by Peter, from the other.]
Peter: (To his troops) Hold your ground! Remember, we’re fighting for Narnia’s freedom!
White Witch: (Mocking) Freedom? Narnia belongs to me, foolish boy. (To her army) Crush
them!
[Aslan steps forward, and the Witch stiffens, realizing her power may not be enough.]
Aslan: (Firmly) Your time is over, Witch. The people of Narnia are no longer under your spell.
White Witch: (With venom) I will never surrender to you, Aslan. Not ever!
[The battle erupts, with Peter and Edmund fighting valiantly. Aslan charges the Witch,
and she finally falls. Victory cries echo as the Witch’s army flees.]
Scene 6: The Coronation
Setting: Throne room in Narnia.
Characters: Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy, Aslan, others.

[The Pevensies stand proudly before Aslan, who places crowns upon their heads one by
one.]
Aslan: (With pride) Sons of Adam, daughters of Eve, rise as kings and queens of Narnia. May
you rule wisely, justly, and with love.
Peter: (Looking at his siblings) Together, we’ll protect Narnia, always.
Lucy: (Looking up at Aslan, wistfully) Will you stay with us, Aslan?
Aslan: (Softly) I will always be near, but my path is elsewhere. Narnia is in good hands now.
Edmund: (Gratefully) Thank you, Aslan…for everything.
Aslan: (With a warm smile) Remember, even the smallest can make a great difference. Farewell,
kings and queens of Narnia.
[Aslan exits, leaving the siblings united and ready to rule Narnia. The scene fades as they
celebrate their new roles, with hope for Narnia’s future.]

These lines should help the actors bring more depth to the characters and convey the themes of
bravery, redemption, and unity.
