Great Computer Solutions is a Chicago-based organization that provides IT Solutions. Our services range from
consultancy and support to forming networks. Since 1996, we have helped a lot of small and medium
organizations grow. We have operations in the US as well as Pakistan. For our Pakistan office, we are on the lookout
for an ambitious candidate to join our team as a Database Developer.
What you’ll be doing?
• Writing new MS SQL queries and modifying current ones to extract data for management
• Creating Crystal reports
• Modifying current Dot Net and PHP applications
• Creating automation scripts based on agency manuals
Must-Have:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, similar education experience
• Prior experience working as a database developer
• Familiarity with database design, documentation and coding
• Prior experience working with technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, JS, Angular JS, JQuery,
DATABASE (SQL SERVER, MySQL), web programming ([Link], PHP, JQuery, Ajax) and REST API.
• Must be proficient in MS SQL queries and SSIS – SQL Server Integration Services
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as GitHub/ Bitbucket / DevOps
• Familiarity with PHP Laravel will be a plus
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Familiar to building common interfaces & functionalities using models & inherited classes for separate
business logic implementation
• Excellent problem solving, design and debugging skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The flexibility of working in US Central Timings on
site
