Crochet hook: ​6.0, 5.5 and 3.5 mm 143 cm, if you want a longer scarf you will
Materials:​Black and white sewing thread need one more skein of Baby Snuggle
Solid.

Panther (#09) -​2 skeins sc ​- single crochet
Yarn:​Rainbow Cotton 8/8 1 inc​- 2 st in the same stitch
1 dec​- sc 2 stitches together

sl st ​- slip stitch
Petunia Pink (#087) -​1 skein
dc​- double crochet
Yarn:​Rainbow Cotton 8/4 hdc​- half double crochet
White (#001) -​1 skein t-ch​- turning chain

PATTERN
HOOD
Using Baby Snuggle Solid in White and a 5.5 mm hook
Ch 19.
Row 1:​1 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, 15 dc, 3 dc in the same st, continue on the other
side of the chain row, 15 dc, 2 dc in the last st, turn (37, the 2 ch in the beginning counts as 1
dc)
Row 2:​ch 2, skip the first st, 15 dc, [1 inc] x5, 15 dc, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (42)
Row 3:​ch 2, skip the first st, 15 dc, [1 inc] x10, 15 dc, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (52)
Row 4:​ch 2, skip the first st, 1 dc in each st, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (52)
Row 5:​ch 2, skip the first st, 17 dc, [1 inc, 1 dc] x8, 17 dc, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (60)
Row 6:​ch 2, skip the first st, 1 dc in each st, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (60)
Row 7:​ch 2, skip the first st, 18 dc, [1 inc, 2 dc] x8, 16 dc, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (68)
Row 8-16:​ch 2, skip the first st, 1 dc in each st, 1 dc in the t-ch, turn (9 rows, 68)
Cut the yarn and fasten all threads.

SCARF
Using Baby Snuggle Solid in Panther and a 6.0 mm hook
Ch 20.
Row 1:​1 dc in the 3rd st from the hook, 1 dc in each st, turn
Row 2:​Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), skip the first st, 1 dc in each st, turn
Repeat row 2 until the scarf measures 143 cm.
If you want a longer scarf just make a few more rows. But note that if so you may need one
more skein of Baby Snuggle Solid.
Do NOT cut the yarn.

Attaching the hood


Measure out the middle of the scarf and place the hood along one of the wide sides of the
scarf. Make sure that the hood is in the middle of it.
Sew on the hood.
Single crochet using a 6.0 mm hook all around the scarf and the hood with 3 sc in each
corner. Fasten all threads.

POCKET ​(make 2)
Using Baby Snuggle Solid in Panther and a 5.5 mm hook
Ch 15
Row 1:​1 dc in the 3rd ch from the hook, 1 dc in each st, turn
Row 2-6:​Ch 2 (counts as 1 dc), skip the first st, 1 dc in each st, turn
Single crochet on 3 of the sides with 3 sc in each corner.
Fasten all threads
Sew on the pockets using sewing thread.

EAR​(make 2)

Using Baby Snuggle in Panther and a 5.5 hook

Start with a magic ring

Rnd 1​: 6 sc in the magic ring (6)


Rnd 2​: [1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 3​: [1 sc, 1 inc] x6 (18)
Rnd 4-7​: 18 sc (4 rounds, 18)
Rnd 8:​[1 sc, 1 dec] x6 (12)
Finish with 1 sl st.
Cut yarn and fasten all threads.

EYE WHITES​(make 2)
Using Rainbow 8/8 in Black and a 3.5 mm hook
Start with a magic ring
Rnd 1:​6 sc in the magic ring (6)
Rnd 2:​[1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 3:​[1 sc, 1 inc] x6 (18)
Rnd 4: ​1 sc, 1 inc, [2 sc, 1 inc] x5, 1 sc (24)
Rnd 5:​[3 sc, 1 inc] x6 (30)
Fasten all threads.
Embroider eyelashes using white thread.

CHEEKS ​(make 2)
Using Rainbow 8/8 in Pink and a 3.5 mm hook
Start with a magic ring
Rnd 1:​6 sc in the magic ring (6)
Rnd 2:​[1 inc] x6 (12)
Rnd 3:​[1 sc, 1 inc] x6 (18)
Fasten all threads.

ASSEMBLING
Pin the ears to the hood and sew them on.
Pin the eyes and cheeks on to the hood and sew them on.
Cut pieces of yarn in white and use as fringes. See pictures further down in the pattern.
