Introduction
Techcanvass, an organization specializing in Information Technology
certification training for professionals, offers internationally recognized
certifications in Business Analysis and Data Analytics.
TechEdge is a Learning Management System (LMS) portal, developed by
Techcanvass in-house. It’s designed for learners to provide them a great and
easy learning experience. The portal houses several learning resources like
course lessons, case studies, exercises, templates and so on.
The user manual provides a step-by-step guide on using the TechEdge portal
efficiently. This manual is focused on ECBA Self-learning Course. The key
sections described in this section are:

Logging into the System
Scenario I: If you have not received any email from Techcanvass
If you have not received any email from Techcanvass, please contact your
organization contact or write to us at tech_admin@[Link] or
info@[Link].
You will receive the credentials within 24 hours.
Scenario II: When you receive the Email from Techcanvass
You must have received an email with the login credentials. You need to use
these credentials to login into the system, as explained below:
Step 1: Open the browser and type the URL -

Step 2: Enter your email ID and password (As provided in the email) as shown
below:

Step 3: If your credentials are correct, you will see the main Dashboard as
shown below (Note: Some of the elements may be different in your login).
If your credentials are incorrect, you will receive an error message as shown
below. In this case, you have entered the credentials incorrectly. Remove any
spaces and try again.

Managing Password
If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it, please follow these
steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the URL: [Link] and enter your login
ID.
Step 2: Click on "Forgot Password" to initiate a password reset request.
Step 3: After clicking on "Forgot Password," you will receive an email with
instructions to reset your password.
Note: Please ensure to check your spam folder if you do not receive the email
in your primary inbox.
Step 4: Follow the instructions in the email to successfully change your
password and re-login on the LMS portal.

As explained in the previous step, once your login is successful, you will be
able to see the main dashboard. In this section, we will explain the elements
of the main dashboard.

Exploring the Main Dashboard
There are several sections on the main dashboard. This section describes
each of the section. The navigation map of the main dashboard is shown
below:

My Courses: This section will show you all the courses, you have subscribed
for. You can click on the course you would like to access or click on “View My
courses” to see all your courses.
Explore all courses: Clicking on button will open all the courses offered by
Techcanvass.

Dashboard menu: This section shows all the tabs from where you can easily
navigate to the desired sections.
Your profile: When you click on your profile, you can easily find the options to
logout or manage your profile.
Refer a friend: We also have a referral program where you can enjoy 7%
referral fees if your friend takes up the subscription by Techcanvass.
View webinar: In this section, you can view all the upcoming webinars and
events.
Blogs: We have a specific blog section, where you can go through our blogs
and articles around courses, certifications, and much more.
Skillster: We are soon coming up with a quiz that test your knowledge.
Reward points: This section shows all the rewards, you earned, while playing
the skillster quiz.

Accessing the Course
Opening Course Browser
Access the Course Browser from the top bar section on the home page to be
redirected to the "My Courses" section.
Click here
Next, you'll find the courses assigned to you under ‘My Courses’
Click on the course to open the course browser. For opening ECBA self-
learning Course, click on ECBA Certification Training (SL).

Navigating ECBA Course
In this section, you will learn how to navigate and use sections of the ECBA
On-demand course.
Let’s start by understanding the sub-sections of this course:

My Course/Course Browser: This is the first tab in your course section. You
can access course videos, quizzes, and view the ECBA study plan.
Mock Questions and Course Completion Test: In this Tab, you can access
the question bank and course completion test.
Course Books, Case Studies and Projects: This Tab provides access to all
the study materials in the portal.
Resource Library and Template: This tab provides access to the resource
library, PPTs, and templates.

Course Browser Section
When you click on the “Course Browser”, you can see three sections, as
shown below:
Start Course: You can view all the course videos arranged chapter wise, as
shown below for the ECBA Course.
Note: Each Chapter is divided into one or more videos. Once you finish
watching a video (Must complete 100%), you can see a complete status for
each video, once your complete watching the entire video.
You need to complete all the videos for each Chapter, to get the chapter
status marked as completed.

Quizzes: When you click on Quizzes, you can view the chapter-wise quizzes.
ECBA Study Plan: Click on ‘Study Plan’ to download the ECBA study plan
sheet.

Mock Questions and Course Completion Test
Step 1- Navigate to the "Mock Questions and Course Completion Test" tab in
your course dashboard to access the ECBA question bank and course
completion test.

Viewing your course progress
Upon commencing your training course on the LMS portal, you can
conveniently monitor your performance status through the following steps:
Step 1: Navigate to the homepage of the portal and position the cursor over
the "My Stuff" option in the top bar section.
Step 2: Click on "My Performance" to access a comprehensive overview of
your course progress.

including details such as completion status and chapters watched history.

Overall Course Progress: You can view the overall percentage progress of
course completion in this section.

Accessing your certificate
You can access your certificate from the My performance section as shown
below:

Upon completing the course completion test, you will become eligible to obtain
your training certificate by clicking on the "Get Certificate" option to initiate the
certificate retrieval process.
Note: When you click on ‘Get Certificate’, you will receive a prompt message
on the screen. If you are eligible and you have completed the course
completion test, you will be able to access your certificate.

Reporting a problem
If you encounter any issues or have queries regarding the portal or your
course allocation, please follow these steps to report them effectively:
Accessing the Issues Tab:
Hover your cursor over the "Issues" tab located in the top bar section of
the portal.
Click here
Initiating an Issue Report:
Click on "Report an Issue" from the dropdown menu.
Providing Details:
Briefly explain the issue you are facing in the designated field.
You can also enhance your explanation by uploading relevant
screenshots or files to provide further clarity.
Finally click on submit after adding all the details.

Here are some of the commonly asked questions with answers:
Question 1: What to do if I face any issues in using LMS or would like to
understand – how to use a section?
There are two options available to you. You can use the issue reporting
section to report a problem or even ask a question.

You can also call your course co-ordinator by using the given phone numbers.
These numbers are also active on WhatsApp.
Please note that our team is in India and operates between (9:30 AM to 6:30
PM India time from Monday to Saturday).
Question 2: My password is not working or userid/password both are
not working.
In this case, you will not be able to login into the portal, so you need to contact
Techcanvass team at info@[Link] or
tech_admin@[Link], so that we can help you resolve the issue.
In case, you have not received the enrolment email from Techcanvass, you
can also contact us on the above email IDs.

Question 3: My course progress reporting is not correct. What do I need
to do? Am I missing something?
Each Chapter is divided into one or more videos. Once you finish watching a
video (Must complete 100%), you can see the complete status for each video,
as you can see in the image.
You need to complete all the videos for each Chapter, to get the chapter
status marked as completed.

Question 4: Not able to see my certificate. What to do?
Once you complete the course, you should be able to download your
certificate my navigating to my performance section as shown below:
Even after clicking “Get certificate”, the certificate is not visible, try the
following:
a) Check if you have completed the course and course completion
test, you can see the course status on the right.
b) Check if your session is not expired.
c) Else, please contact us as explained in question number 1.

Question 5: Why is my Test series progress fluctuating again and again?
How does this work?
The test series score is a cumulative score. It is re-calculated after every test
you take, whether its chapter wise or full-length test.
The calculation is always done by using the simple formulae:
Test Score (%) = (No of correct answers/Total questions) X 100
Lets understand with an example:

Test 3 4 10 50%
The test score is always representative of overall preparation score.
