Setting of 2-day intensive Division Sanayguro for SPA Curriculum
Objectives:
i. Discuss Theater as an Art Discipline
ii. Go through the Theater Arts Curriculum Guide & MELCs
iii. Introduce the content & performance standards of Theater Arts
7-10
iv. Give examples of lesson exemplars and self-learning modules
1:00-5:00 v. Provide a sample of a winning piece of the Sulatanghal which
was used for Direk Mo, Ganap Ko as a competition in the SPA
Theater Arts Festival of Talents
vi. Lay down expected assignments, possible outputs, and
application through a workshop
a. Create a one-week lesson exemplar/module from the
assigned grade level and competency
b. Try out the Rasabox as an integral activity prior to
performances or dramatization/role playing activities of
students
c. Perform ‘Ang Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio’ as a group and
‘Retoke” by pair
DAY 2 (Morning Session) / August 26, 2022
8:00-10:00 WORKSHOP 1: Draft a one-week lesson exemplar based on the
assigned grade level and competency.
10:00-11:00 Reread and brainstorm the scripts ‘Ang Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio’
and ‘Retoke’
11:00-12:00 Practice and Rehearsal of the performances
DAY 2 (Afternoon Session) / August 26, 2022
1:00-2:00 WORSHOP 2: Introduce & try out the RASABOXES OF
EMOTIONS
Objective: All participants should try out the rasaboxes individually.
2:00-3:30 WORKSHOP 3: Perform ‘Retoke’ by pair. After the performance,
process the activity.
3:30-4:30 WORKSHOP 4: Perform ‘Ang Paglilitis ni Mang Serapio’ as a
group. After the presentation, exchange ideas regarding the question
‘What went well and wrong in your performance?’
