In what ways have families changed in the last hundreds years?

In Vietnam, family has changed from the last hundred years to now by the clearly
way. I can see 2 factors in here:
First is about quality:
+ In the past: One husband could have 2 3 4 even 7 wives. At the time, it was
considered a extremely normal trait, it was even embraced and celebrated.
+ But now: The factors of a legal family is 1 husband and 1 wife. That is the standard
of law morality.
The second factors is about who is the breed winner in family:
+ In the past: The father was the breadwinner ( always), and everyone did the will of
the father or had to listen to everything that he said, even grandparents could not do
wrong thing. It is so bad and old-fashion.
+ And now: Mother can be a breed winner, even do it better than father. And man
and woman share and build their family together.

Should we rely heavily on our families or is it better to try to be independent?

I believe that we need to be independent to control our own lives such as earn to
living or overcome every challenge by ourselves but we must not forget families.I
mean we do not based on family to much like let our family control our own life. But
thing we need in the family is share joys and sorrows when we facing difficulties. So
to be independent is better than depend on our families.

The elderly are sometimes considered the wisest members of society. What do
you think we can learn from them?

Yes, actually we can learn many thing many thing from adult.
+Fist, the elderly are previous generations, so they have many experiment in life,
about happiness, about bad thing, and some challenges that they need to face to face.
One in many experiment that I really like is how to know the weather without weather
forecast.
+Second, they are almost perfect people. They see life from different view, so have
idea or something like that from them is actually good thing.
Friendship

What do you expect from a good friend? Dêpn on ech giai doan, nho: vui, lon: su

For me, actually, about friend., I do not care about appearance, I just appreciate about
personality. A good friend is a sympathy and reliable person. That person make me
feel more secure and comfortable when talking, especially being able to living
together. Besides, if that friend has sense of humor, I think that is also a good friend
because he or she just brings happiness to me, not sadness or negative thing.

Are friend as important to you as family?

No, I believe friend is not important than family. Friend can comes and go, but family
is still and always here. However, this does not make my friends less important to me.
Naturally, family comes first for almost everybody and then the friendship. I am no
exception.

Do you think friendships change as we get older? How?

Yes, of course, I believe so.

First: In some situations, friendship can not go together like do not study in the same
class or school or area anymore. So the long distance can change our relationship, the
friendship is not deep except in some cases.
Second: Is about personality, the more older we get, the more people we meet. So it is
not except their personality changed.
Education:

Do you think science subjects are useful than arts subject?

I believe that science subject contradict art subject. Because each subject has its own
purpose and different purpose.
About science subjects: it increasing logic thinking as well as calculation
About art subject: it will simulate creative thinking about color or design
By the way, nothing is useful than other. And when we combine those two subjects
together, our brain will be more wonderful.

Are students mature enough to choose what to study themselves or should their
parents decide for them?

I think let children choose what to study, but they need to listen to the advice from
their parents. Because parents is a previous generation, so they have a lot of
knowledge and experiment to know what is right and what is wrong.

In your country does having a university education help you into a better career?

Yes of course, my country has a lot of universities have good education, and better
career is a matter of course. Actually, I am studying in Dalat University and I see that,
that univeristy is very good for student. But we do not depend on the help of
university to much, we also self study and practice a lot.

Motivation:

Do you think older or younger workers are more motivated?

Younger need to be motivated because the whole thing they has is youth and strength.
+First, They have a long way and much time to reach their dream, so they need to be
hard working, hard study.
+Second, is because of their youth, so they do not have a lot of experiment, so they
need to do and learn more as well as experience more about life to accumulate
experience.

How can managers increase motivation among their workforce?

First, managers take effort to become a sympathy person. When they understand their
workforce, so they can give good advice to their employees. And workforce will have
motivation to work with a sympathy person.
Second, About the fairness between everyone. A fair managers will gain the trust
from employees. And employees use it as motivation to work in happy mood.
Are people more motivated if their job involves helping others?
Yes, of course
Love is the most important thing in life. When they help someone overcome the
challenge, and I am sure that they feel very happy as well as proud of themself.
Because helping others as well as helping themselves. the more you help others, the
more happiness you get.

Environment:
Are people in your country concerned about protecting the environment?
Yes, certainly.
In recent year, the environment is being seriously threatened.
And with the development of internet, Vietnamese are very concerned about
environmental problem and protect it.
We have many thing to protect the environment like recycling waste or green Sunday.
And I am sure that they as well as myself will do more to make the environment clean
and fresh.

Does the responsibility for protecting the environment lie with governments or
with individuals?
In my view, I think the responsibility is of both.
First, about governments solve some big problems like global warming, and they have
to cooperate with other organizations because that problem need a lot of money to
solve, and individuals can not do it.
Second is about individuals can not do big problem, so they do little thing like
recycling waste or put trash in right place.

Does it helps to educate young people on being green?

Certainly it does, because young people is the next generation to protect the place
where they live, ( it is the Earth). So it helps young people know what they need to
protect what they have, so that is not disappear.

Pollution:
What effects does pollution have on the environment?
Pollution affects the Earth’s land, air, and water by releasing
pollutants in the air, water. And it causing acid rain, perforating the
ozone layer, increasing the greenhouse effect, warming the earth,
melting the polar ice, causing sea level rise...
It almost effects on humans health such as lung or diarrhea
Do you think we pollute more now than we did 50y ago?
Yes, Naturally, along with the development of society, the destruction of forests as
well as more waste, the environment is being seriously affected. Evidence is now
More and more toxic dust and trees are also gradually reduced, replaced by factories.
But if we join hands to protect the environment, the environment will become green
again.

What do you think will happen if we do not reduce current levels of pollution?
It is all too clear that the place we live will get worse that is the earth, there will be no
more clean air, the earth will get hotter, and human health will also suffer. In the
worst case, perhaps the earth will perish. So, we need to protect the environment as
well as reduce current levels of pollution
Language Learning
Is it considered important in your country to learn foreign languages?
Absolutely. Learning languages, especially English, allows us to be able to
communicate with others. It also helps us study more effectively since we can search
for almost everything on the Internet in English. It also helps a lot in our work

Best ways to learn a language

I think the most effective way to learn a language is to practice more with a native

speaker. By doing this, you can improve both listening and oral skills simultaneously,

you will be fluent in this language. Besides, Doing general readings in my spare time

and keep a journal in English. And a funny ways is watching film with subtile. And the

important thing is do not being lazy when learn a language

Why best than others

First, I think it depend on their talent about language

Second is the passion about language, have a motivated to learm and learn in good

mood, so that is very effective than who is not like learning language

Third is about hard working, the more time they use to study, the better knowledge

they have
