Scene - 1
( Narrator : Yash enters the living room talking to his friend on the
phone while Yash’s mom is crocheting )
Yash : (Speaking to his friend on the phone) I really want to come I
will ask my mom and tell you.
Mom : Who is on the phone Yash?
Yash : Oh, its Rohan my friend. He and my friends are coming at our
house.
Mom : Ok fine. But don’t be busy on your phone when they are here.
Yash : Ok fine
Mom : Yash what are you doing? What you are on your phone from
so much time why don’t you go outside?
Yash : Ugh mom you are so boring get out of my room.
Mom : But at least listen to me first…. Yash open the door….
Narrator : Mom was very sad after all this. Few minutes later Yash’s
friends came.
(Ting-Tong)
Mom : Oh, I think Yash’s friends came.
(Mom opens the door)
Mom : Hey kids
Yash’s friends : (All together) Hey aunt
Rohan : Umm where is Yash?
Mom : He is in his room.
Naina : Can you call him?
Sara : We were about to go somewhere today evening.
Mom : You guys come in I’ll just call him. Yash come fast your friends
came.
Narrator : Mom was shocked when Yash’s friends came inside and
were just busy in there mobile phones, ignoring her.
Yash : Hey guys lets go I am sorry I got late.
Mom : Where are you all going right now?
Sara : Actually, we had plans today of going to gaming club.
Mom : Ok go but take care and…..
Yash : Yeah now let us go bye
Mom : But wait….. ugh they went without listening to me fine leave
it. I hope they come soon
Narrator : Mom makes the food and keeps waiting for Yash but after
waiting for hours and hours Yash didn’t came. She also called him but
he didn’t pick up the call after waiting a lot she got tired and went to
sleep.
Mom : Its 11 o clock still Yash did not came. I am going to sleep now
its too late.
Narrator : Yash comes at 2 o clock at night with a bad headache. In
the morning when mom takes him to doctor they come to know that
Yash has spectacles but, it didn’t change Yash even a bit.
Scene – 2
Narrator : As you saw in scene 1 Yash was not a good boy and he
never listened to his mother and in the end Yash got spectacles. In
scene 2 you will come to know about a boy of same age as Yash,
Rahul. Rahul,Neha and their mom Mamta will be the new neighbours
of Yash. So lets see what happens next.
Mamta : Rahul, where are you?
Narrator : Mamta ’s mom searched a lot for Samir but couldn’t find
him. Then she goes in the garden and sees Samir sitting on the
bench.
Rahul : Hey mom.
Mamta : Oh god I am searching for you from so much of time and
you are sitting here.
Rahul : Oh that’s weird you know right that I come here every
evening.
Mamta : Oh I forgot. Well what are you doing?
Rahul : Just enjoying the view of nature, see these butterflies are so
beautiful.
Mamta : Hmmm actually its so pretty.
Narrator : Samir continues talking with his mom meanwhile Samir’s
sister comes in the garden.
Neha : Hey guys what are you doing?
Mamta : Nothing just sitting.
Neha : did you forgot that your friend Sagar was about to come
today?
Rahul : Oh no I forgot it. Thanks for informing me Neha.
Neha : Your welcome, now go fast and call him.
(Ting-Tong)
Rahul : Oh I think Sagar came.
Sagar : Hey Rahul
Rahul : Hii I have been waiting for you now lets not waste the time.
Sagar : So lets go for a walk
Rahul : Ok lets go…… mom I am going for a walk with Sagar.
Mamta : Ok fine, but come fast.
Sagar : Don’t worry aunt, I will bring him back to home really fast.
Neha : I hope you do that and yeah! today you have to help me with
my maths homework and projects……ok??
Rahul : Oh! why not….. now I am going, bye
Neha : Ok bye…… mom you were about to meet our new neighbours
right
Mamta : Yes, but I have to also cook the food so I will go tomorrow.
Neha : Don’t worry mom I will make the food you can go talk to her
Mamta : Thanks Neha
(At Laxmi’s house)
Ting-Tong
Laxmi : (Opening the door) Hey, who are you by the way?
Mamta : Umm I am your new neighbour
Laxmi : So sorry I didn’t know, please come inside.
Narrator : As Mamta enters the house she sees that Laxmi’s son’s age
is same as her own son but then she realizes that her son spends a
lot time in his mobile phone and is just the opposite of Rahul)
Mamta : That’s amazing! my son will love spending time with Yash
by the way where is he going right now.
Laxmi : He is going out with his friends in the gaming club.
Mamta : Ok I think I should go now its getting late Neha would be
waiting for me.
Laxmi : Ok, bye
Mamta : Bye
