Steps to follow -Implementation on Skill India Digital
1. STEP 1: Institute Account Creation on Skill India Digital (SID):
(Please skip this step if you are already registered as a Training Provider on SID)
To participate under PMKVY 4.0, Institutes need to be registered as a Training provider (TP) on the
Skill India Digital.
To register as a training provider (TP) on the Skill India Digital, following steps need to be followed:
• Step 1 : Go to Skill India Digital→ click on register on the right top or click on link
(https://www.skillindia.gov.in/direct-registration) → choose group as Training Provider(TP) →
enter the SPOC details and click on register→ Verify the OTP trigger on SPOC → User credential
shared on SPOC email ID.
• Step 2 : Log in with TP User ID - Choose organization/ entity type (Govt/Non Govt.) → Choose
type of entity →Select the type of organisation →Enter name of Organization→ Select year of
Establishment and upload relevant document → Mention the CEO/MD/Head of the Organization
info→ Click on “Save & Next”→ Enter Address of the organisation and communication address
→ Click on “Save & Next”→ Accept the disclaimer→ Click on Save & Continue
Please Note: Only unique SPOC details are required for registration.

PMKVY_SKILL_HUB
• Step 3: → Choose type of process as Non- Accreditation & Affiliation (Non-A&A)→ Select
Scheme/Model as “PMKVY_SKILL_HUB” (Institutes participating under Skill Hubs are exempted
from complete Accreditation & Affiliation process) → Enter TP id under Proposal ID→ Click on
Submit
• Post submission, the application will be reviewed by the NSDC PMU team. TP applications
post verification will be accorded “Deemed ready” status on SID which will further enable the
training provider to apply for Training center ID (TC ID) creation for batch submissions.
2. STEP 2: Training Centre ID Creation:
• Post verification of TP Id, the status of TP registration will reflect as deemed ready on your
TP login. Post attaining deemed ready status, training institute is required to share the details
of Training Centre for Training centre ID (TC ID) creation.
• Share the details of the training centre such as address, SPOC details and job roles opted and
the targets required against each job role by filing the google form shared below:

• Post verification of TC creation request, a Training centre id (TC ID) and Password to access
and login your Institutes TC ID on SID will be shared to the respective Single Point of
contact(SPOC) of the training center.
• TC ID will give further access to the training centre to manage the entire training lifecycle of
batches created under the skill hub initiative project.
• The Job Roles may be selected from a repository of approved list of courses, access to which
is given below:

3. STEP 3: Trainer Registration on Skill India Digital:
• Before commencement of training, respective trainer needs to be registered on the Skill India
Digital. ( Link: https://www.skillindiadigital.gov.in/)
• Click on Register. Select Partner on the next step.

• Select Trainer option to register as Trainer.
• Enter Mobile Number on the next step.
• Enter the Mobile Number, an OTP will be sent to the Mobile number. Enter the OTP received,
4 digit pass code has to be set.
• Now login again with the mobile number and Pass code. Dashboard will be shown as below.

• Trainer will also have to complete their E-KYC using any of the three methods –
• Enter your AADHAAR Number and click Continue. An OTP will be sent on the mobile number
linked with AADHAAR, enter the OTP, EKYC verification will be done.
• After E-KYC is done, please Click on Connect.

• If you are already registered with NSDC as a Triner select Yes and Enter the Trainer ID. If you
are registering as a New Trainer Select NO and Enter the Email ID an OTP will be sent on the
email. Please enter the same and Verify.
• Once the verification is done, pls Click on Explore Now to fill the further information on TP.
• Personal details of the trainer has to be filled.

• AADHAR number of the trainer to be filled and then click on Verify. Pls note Date Of Birth as
mentioned on AADHAR has to be same for verification to be successful.
• Photograph of the Trainer to be selected then click on Upload and then select Trainer option.
• Once done, Please click on Save and Next.

• In the next Step, Personal Details of the Trainer has to be updated.
• Once all the details are filled, Click on Save Changes.
• Next Education Details has to be updated. Select the Education Attained (Graduation, Post
Graduation, ITI, etc.) Upload the Qualification Certificate and click on Upload. Then Save & Add
Educational Details.

• Professional Experience of the candidates to be updated. Select the Relevant Professional
Experience sector and then Job Title.
• Once all the details are filled, upload Proof Document (Salary Slip, Job Offer, etc) and click on
Add Professional Experience Details.
• Next Training related Details have to be updated.

• Fill all the details upload proof Document and Click on Add Training Experience Details.
• CV of the Trainer has to be uploaded in the final step and then click on Save Changes.
• Once you click on Save Changes, Profile Details would be upldated.

• On the Final Page you will have two options –
1. Proceed with Certificate Mandated Scheme
2. Proceed with Non- Certificate Mandated Scheme.
If you are working under Skill Hub please select Non Certificate Mandated Scheme.
If you are working under Short Term Training/Special Project then select Certificate
Mandated Scheme.

4. STEP 4: Batch Creation at Training Centre (TC):
a. Batch Creation at Training Center:
To create a batch under the TC Login, training center needs to follow the below mentioned steps:
Login to your TC ID- - > My Schemes - - > View Schemes - - > My Approved Scheme/Program - - >
Actions - - > View Details - - > PMKVY 4.0 Skill India Centres- - > Actions - - > View Details - - > View
All Batches - - > All Batches and Job Roles - - > Create Batch

b. Enter Batch Details:
The create batch screen allows the Training Centre to enter the batch details in four sections as
listed below:
➢ Batch Details
➢ QP/Job Role Details
➢ Classroom and OJT Training Dates and Hours
➢ Classroom/Laboratory Details
➢ Trainer Details

The Batch Details section displays the basic details of the batch such as Scheme Type, Batch
Type and allows the Training Centre to enter the Batch Size (Minimum batch Size: 10
Candidates, Max Batch Size 45 candidates).
The QP/Job Role Details section allows the Training Centre to select the Associated QP (Job
Role) and displays the details of the selected QP such as Sector, QP Code, NSQF Level, and QP
Hours and OJT Hours
➢ Enter Classroom + Practical Training Hours Per Day:
The Training Centre should enter the appropriate Classroom+ practical training Hours Per Day
details. (Minimum Hours- 2Hrs/day; Maximum Hours – 8 Hrs/day)

➢ Enter On the Job Training (OJT) Hours Per day (Only for OJT applicable Job
Roles):
The Training Centre should enter the appropriate OJT training Hours Per Day. (Minimum
Hours- 2Hrs/day; Maximum Hours – 8 Hrs/day)
➢ Enter Classroom In Time and Classroom Out Time details from the drop-down clock
and Click Add.
➢ Enter OJT In Time and OJT Out Time details from the drop-down clock and Click
Add (Only for OJT Applicable Job Roles)
➢ Select the appropriate Batch Start Date and OJT Start Date from the drop-down
calendar.
Training end dates will be automatically calculated by the SID based on the training and
OJT hours per day selected above.

➢ The Trainer details section allows the Training Centre to select the associated Trainer,
Proposed Assessment Date, and Preferred Assessment Language from the drop-down
list. Also displays the Trainer Certified, Email Address, Mobile Number, and Enrollment
Closure Date.
Save & Next, the screen appears as follows.
Click OK, to navigate to the Orientation Calendar screen
The Training Calendar section allows the Training Centre to select the training dates of the batch
from the drop-down calendar.

The Training Centre can select the session details such as Date & Day, Session Planned, NOS Taught,
Start Time, End Time, and enter the Description/Lesson Plan. Click Add Session, the added session
details will appear on the screen. Further, click Save & Update Training Calendar to complete the
batch creation process.
5. STEP 5: Candidate Registration Process:
● Candidate needs to Register/Login on https://www.skillindiadigital.gov.in/home as Learner.

● After login (e-KYC completed) Candidate needs to select PMKVY 4.0. as shown in the below
screenshot:
● Select the Sub-Scheme from the Skill Hub Initiative, Click on the Apply button.
● Job Roles in particular schemes will be visible on the dashboard.
Select >> View All to see all the Job Roles and choose the Job Role for which the candidate wants
to continue the training.

● Candidate can choose the Sector from the drop-down list.
● All the Batches which are created a Day before under TC Login will be visible under a particular
Job Role as visible in the below image.
● You can search with the location option available at the top.
● Select the check box of particular batch in which you want apply for >> And click on Show
Interest as represented in the below image.
● Fill in all the required details to show interest, as visible in below image.

● On successful submission of Interest, a congratulations message will be displayed, the submitted
request will be triggered to the concerned Training Centre SPOC.
● Candidates can select a maximum of 5 batches to show interest in. This request will be triggered
to Training Centre (TC) dashboard.
● Verify the Batch Start Date, Training Centre Name, Training Partner Name, and Batch Timing
before showing interest in a particular batch.

6. STEP 6: Accepting Candidates Request for Training at TC:
● Login to your TC ID, scroll down and click on View and Manage Candidates
● Training centre (TC ID) can see all the requests under View and Manage Candidates.
● The list will be available under Candidate Interest >> Pending Request as shown in the image.
● All the candidates will be visible under the Pending section till the time Training Centre accept
their request one by one.
● After approval candidates will be visible under the Approved tab and the request will be sent back
to the candidate for final acceptance in the candidates SID login as shown in section below.

7. STEP 7: Final Acceptance by Candidate to Enroll in a batch:
● The request will be visible under the approved section as it is approved by the TC after interest is
shown by the candidate. Once the candidate accepts the request it will be moved to the Accepted
section.
● The candidate will be visible under the batch from where Training Centre staff can directly enroll
the candidates into the batch and process further with the training.
8. STEP 8: Enroll & Final Submission of a Batch on SID:
● Post acceptance of the request by the candidates, the list of willing candidates will be visible under
the Enrolled Candidates List section inside the created batch.

• Categorize each candidate by selecting one of the following options and click on submit:
a. In School: Candidates who are a part of the institute pursuing some course in the
institute.
b. Out School: Candidates who have been enrolled from outside and are not part of the
institute.
• Repeat the above step for all the enrolled candidates and complete the batch submission by
clicking on the submit to AB button as shown below:

• The following message will confirm batch submission on SID.
9. STEP 9: Training Lifecycle on SID and Attendance
Monitoring:
• Daily attendance of the candidates is to be marked on the Aadhaar Enabled Biometric
Attendance System (AEBAS). Institutes must ensure procurement and installation of AEBAS
devices before commencement of training and mark the attendance of the candidates on
AEBAS daily.
(Process to procure AEBAS devices and the onboarding process is explained in
attached document link-> Annexure-2- AEBAS Onboarding Process.pdf
• First tranche amount against the batch shall be initiated on achievement of 70%
attendance for a batch on any one day within the first 20 days. (For example: If the batch size
is of 30 candidates, the attendance for 21 candidates should be marked on AEBAS within the
first 20 days of training commencement to become eligible for the first tranche amount)
• Each candidate should attain 70% of the total training days and at least 50% of the
total QP hours within the batch end date to become eligible to appear for final
assessment.

a. On-the-Job Training (OJT)
Skill India Centres will be responsible for arranging establishments and necessary tie ups to offer OJT
to candidates for Job Roles mandated with On-the-Job Training Hours.
The role of training center regarding OJT has been summarized below:
➢ Identifying establishments willing to offer OJT
➢ Make necessary arrangements for candidates to undertake OJT
➢ Undertake monitoring and ensure attendance of candidates during OJT
➢ Collect OJT certificate from the respective employers to certify the attendance of
the candidate as per the shared template:

The proof of OJT attendance certificate needs to be uploaded on SID before the
assessments date. The OJT certificate will be checked by the assessor on the day of assessment to
evaluate the total attendance of the candidate based on which Assessments will be conducted.
NOTE: Attached Employer Declaration document must be signed and stamped by the
authorized Employer Signatory with Company Seal.
b. How to Update OJT Attendance on SID:
• Under the view all batches sections, click on 3 dots visible against the respective batch and Click
on Update OJT Attendance tab.

• Merge the OJT Certificates of all the candidates in a Single Document and Click on Upload.
Enter OJT Hours for all the candidates on all the OJT dates. Please note OJT Hours for all the
candidates has to be entered manually for all the days. Once Done click on Save & Update OJT
Training Attendance.
Please note that OJT attendance of all the candidates needs to be updated on SID prior to the
assessment date.

c. Candidate Eligibility Criteria to Appear for Assessment
It is mandatory for the candidate(s) to attain at least 70% of total training days and at least
50% of the total QP hours within the batch end date to become eligible to appear for final
assessment. All training providers need to monitor the attendance of all the batches daily to ensure
candidates meet the required eligibility criteria on the day of assessment.
(Batch duration will be within the batch start and end date reflecting on SID)

d. How to Check & Monitor the Attendance of the candidates on
AEBAS Digital:
To access the candidate wise “Day and Hourly Attendance” report, please follow the steps
mentioned below:
1. Login to AEBAS Digital using your login credentials
2. Go to the reports tab. (in left hand side)
3. Select advance reports option
4. Select Office location, division unit (batch id) & date range (batch start date and batch end date
as per batch submitted on SID)
5. Generate Reports- Check Total Days Present and Total Hours spent against each candidate
6. Click on Export to excel.
e. Process to Extend the Batch end date of a batch on SID:
Under PMKVY 4.0 training providers have been given a provision to extend the batch end date,
maximum up to 15 days, for allowing the candidates meet the required attendance in case the
candidates are failing to meet the assessment eligibility criteria.
*NOTE: Please note that the provision is active only till a day before the original batch end
date entered on SID. Training providers must ensure to edit the batch end dates before at
least one day prior to the original batch end date reflection on SID
Steps to extend batch end date:
1. Login to your TC ID
2. Click on view schemes and access the view all batches section.
3. Click on the action button against the batch where the batch end date needs extension.
4. Click on edit batch details.
Chose the required batch end date (max upto 15 days) from the drop-down list and submit)
10. STEP 10: Assessment & Certification of Candidate
• Post completion of training of a batch ( as per the end date on SID), the assessment will be
conducted by the respective awarding body on the date of assessment selected by the institute
on the Skill India Digital.
• Assessment will be conducted by a third-party affiliated assessment agency who will depute an
assessor to conduct the assessment of the candidates at the training centre.

• On Completion of assessment, results of the assessment will be uploaded on the Skill India Digital
by the Awarding Body. Institutes will be able to view the results of the candidates through the TC
Id.
• Once the results are approved by the awarding body on SID, Institutes will be able to
view/download the marksheets and certificates of the candidates by clicking on the “Candidate
Marksheet” section available in the TC Id.
