 Implementation involves taking decisions

 Deployment of manpower

3. Monitoring and supervision
 Monitoring and Supervision are related terms and
refer to keeping watch over work that is going on.
 Methods of monitoring include;
 i. Continuous observation
 ii. Checking supplies
 iii. Examining records
 iv. Discussing with staff

visits to the actual sites where the activities are
being carried out.

evaluation regarding the following;

Types of evaluation
 Evaluation types mainly include:
 Mid term evaluation
 Summative evaluation
 Mid term evaluation is one that is carried out

–going evaluation.
 Summative evaluation is the type of evaluation
that is carried out after the work has been done.

Steps in carrying out evaluation
 Step 1. Decide what is to be evaluated and select
indicators of effectiveness.
 Step 2. Collect the necessary information

programme or on the other uses of the evaluation
