Saving A Kitten

Jason had completed his homework so his mother gave him permission to play with

his friends at the park. He was very happy to meet them. As they were chatting, they heard a

soft meowing sound coming from the tree nearby. They walked towards there and saw a box.

Being curious, Jason opened it and found a kitten. He was shocked. It looked dirty and

hungry.

He carried the kitten carefully. He saw some marks on its face and the left leg was

injured. He felt sorry for the kitten. Jason decided to bring the kitten home. But, he was

worried that his mother might not like it because she wanted him to concentrate on his

coming exam. When he got home, he told his mother what had happened and how sorry he

felt for the kitten. His mother accepted after he promised to do well in his exam.

He cleaned the kitten and gave some fresh milk to drink. He told his mother about

the kitten’s leg and asked her to take the kitten to the vet. After a fortnight, the kitten became

healthy and Jason decided to keep it as the family pet.

Mr. Kho is a rescue pilot. He flies a plane or helicopter over the seas and
woods to look for and save people who are in danger or lost. He has to

and animals that are in danger and puts out fires. He also helps people
