Christian Formation

Christian formation is way of life ang process. It influences all aspects in activities, policies and
regulations. Christian formation is upholding the catholic identity of the religions education in campus
ministry. To fulfil the Christian Formation they established the policies of the activities aim of the catholic
school and promoting the Christian life.

Christian spiritual formation is the process of being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ for the
glory of God and for the sake of others (2 Corinthians 3:17-18)

The focus of signal formation is the Holy Spirit, who guide the ongoing journey.

Spiritual formation is a process, but it is also a journey through which we open deeper connection
with God.

5 facts in Spiritual Formation:

 Reflective reading
 Active repentance
 Total Stewardship
 Penetrating Prayer
 Community Accountability

Discipleship is the process of devoting oneself to become a better person of God. For the Christian,
learning Jesus is to follow him. Believe that the holy spirit will guide you, become the follower of Jesus is a
change in life tin positive way. We became sinner for not believing in him. The essence of spiritual
formation is: hearing God in his Word, growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus and bearing the last
fruit (Gal 5:19-23)

Spiritual formation may be exercised both internally and corporately. God commands his children to
worship with one another.

Something we pary if we nee or want something and we tend to forget the essence of prayer. Prayer is
talking to God of how you feel and thanking him fot the life he give every day. Everyday is a chance for us
to be a good children.
God speak to us through his holy spirit, but it is up top us to respond hi.

Pray then like this; “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have
forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

We can trust this promise and rely on Isaiah 55:11 which promises that the study of God’s Word will
not return void.

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall
accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.

We are taught to develop personal relationship with God. He say that “ all believers should be growing as
induvial believers in community” and further explains that “Christians should find their place of service and
participation within the larger, corporate body, the Church” Gathering the other believers for worship,
increasing our love and service with one another. Growth and maturation brought us together in this
disconnected society. We need to worship corporately.
