•STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
The primary objective of this comprehensive research study, conducted during the summer of the academic year
2023-2024, is to thoroughly identify and evaluate the most optimal and effective method that can be employed to
gain a deeper and more insightful understanding of the learning patterns, preferences, and needs of the students,
while also exploring and enhancing the teaching approaches and instructional techniques utilized by the educators
at Rosario Technical High School. Presented below are a series of questions that can aid us in pinpointing the issue
and delivering the appropriate solution. Specifically, it attempts to answer the following questions:
[Link] is the profile of the teacher respondents in terms of:
1.1 age;
1.2 sex; and
1.3 How does extreme heat affect the teaching efficiency of the teachers?
[Link] is the profile of the students respondents in terms of:
2.1 age;
2.2 sex; and
2.3 How does extreme heat affect students learning?
[Link] may the response or reaction of the respondants be assessed in terms of:
3.1 affective;
3.2 behavioral;
3.3 cognitive;
3.4 adaptiveness?
[Link] are the barriers that could impede the respondents' ability to cope with intense heat in terms of:
4.1Student Health Reports:
4.2School Attendance Records:
4.3Usage of Cooling Facilities:
4.4Incidents of Heat-related Symptoms:
[Link] the significance difference in the responses when grouped according to profile variables.
6. what teaching method may be implemented by the researcher to have a more suitable teaching method for better
understanding of the learners during this hot summer
Rationale
Improve the School Facility: By enhancing the thickness of the walls and the roof it can reduce the
temperature inside of the room
Provide air conditioning fans: The fan plays a role in other modes as well. It will run when your air
conditioner is providing cool air but also operates when your AC is in “Dry Mode”. The system won’t
need to reduce the temperature and the fan can run slower to remove excess moisture from the air in your
home.
Switch to Modular Distance Learning: Students could have a fancier and more comfortable situation
During the Heat Season. By doing the Modular Distance Learning it could lower the risk of the students
having to suffer in heat stroke. Recommending the Modular Distance Learning because of the hardships
of the other students having to walk directly to the sun's heat.
