tourism safely, seamlessly and
responsibly. .

worldwide that have become the "Best
Tourism Villages in 2022". Among them,

AFTER THE IMPACT OF COVID-19

FEBRUARY 3, 2023, IN INDONESIA, DEPUTY GENERAL DIRECTOR


OF VIETNAM NATIONAL ADMINISTRATION OF TOURISM (VNAT),
HA VAN SIEU MET AND WORKED WITH THE DIRECTOR OF THE
PACIFIC ASIA TRAVEL ASSOCIATION (PATA), PAUL PRUNGKARN.

According to the meeting, PATA considers Vietnam as one of its


important members. PATA's Director of Operations, Paul Prungkarn,
expressed the readiness to support Vietnam in developing and
recovering tourism activities, connecting experts and partners in the
industry. PATA will collaborate with Vietnam in organizing the
Destination Recovery Capability program in the years 2021 - 2022 and
trainings to help Vietnam recover after the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2023,
PATA plans to expand its project and organize a workshop in Vietnam to
train small and medium-sized enterprises on financial management.

ASEANTA SURVEY ON INFORMATION ABOUT CONFERENCE

TOURISM IN CAN THO On September 6, Mr. Nguyen Thac Hien, Vice Chairman of
Can Tho City People's Committee, received a delegation of
ASEANTA to survey tourism in Can Tho. The delegation had
representatives from the Tourism Associations of
Indonesia, the Philippines and Cambodia, through the
coordination between Hoa Hao General Hospital - Medic
Can Tho and HieuTour [Link].
