AAA725 - ADVANCE DIGITAL ARCHITECTURE
TASK 1: CLO1
For Task 1, group (2 persons) are required to search for buildings that use the latest
architectural software. Student can gather information from the local library, internet
searches, or magazines/books. The essential data student need for each building are:
Developer: The entity or person responsible for creating and funding the building
project.
Function: The purpose or use of the building (e.g., residential, commercial, cultural,
etc.).
Software: The advance architectural software used for the building.
Once student have gathered the necessary information, student are required to
present it to the class, and also submit/upload the findings to Microsoft Teams (OCT
2024 – FEB 2025 AAA725 CFAP7731A)

TASK 2: CLO2
For Task 2, this is an individual assignment that integrates with the AAA700 course,
where student will be working on an urban design project. Students need to choose a
suitable area or site for your proposal.
Your task is to address an issue or problem related to the chosen site and create an
architectural design using advanced digital software. Your design proposal should
focus on one of the following projects:
Sculpture Kiosks Jetty Bridge Pavilion Tower
Submission will be an;
i) ONE A1 presentation board
ii) ONE A4 presentation sheet
iii) A5 booklet (compilations) and
upload all the board and booklet to Microsoft Teams (OCT 2024 – FEB 2025
AAA725 CFAP7731A), where student will communicate your architectural
design critically. Ensure that your design is well-thought-out and addresses
the specific issue or problem identified for the site.
Submission Date: Week 10
Grading:
Task 1 (30%):
You will be assessed based on the quality and relevance of the architectural models
prepared by your group, including the accuracy and completeness of the data
gathered. Presentation skills will also be evaluated.
Task 2 (70%):
Your individual architectural design project will be assessed based on the creativity
and innovation of your proposal, how well it addresses the identified issue or problem,
and the proficiency in using the chosen digital software for communication. Your
portfolio's organization, clarity, and visual presentation will also be considered.
Ensure that you adhere to the submission deadline and follow any specific guidelines
provided by your instructor for both tasks. Good luck with your assignments!
