D- USING YOUR COOLER E- CLEANING, MAINTENANCE AND TRANSPORTATION OF YOUR
COOLER
Defrost function CLEANING
Your product has automatic defrost function. Your show case will melt frost automatically when it is necessary to defrost
while running Cleaning of your device is composed of two stages, which are the internal cleaning and external cleaning.
Although your product automatically prevents frost deposit, frost deposit ratio may increase due to high temperature Following warnings must certainly be abided before start cleaning.
and humidity as well as frequent use of the device. Running period increases as the frost deposit increases. That also
increases the energy consumption. In such cases, stop your product and ensure melting of the frost.
CAUTION!
• Unplug your cooler before every cleaning.
DO NOT FORGET! • Always wear protective gloves during cleaning and maintenance. This will protect you from injuries.
• Never use abrasive and scratching substances (flammable and sparkling, solvent like gasoline, thinner, acid )
An evaporator without frost will always run with high efficiency
as cleaning agents. Never use flowing and pressurized water for cleaning.
Water from the evaporator drops onto the drop tray at compressor section. Even though hot gas evaporates water
here, it will be better to check and clean once a month
Internal cleaning
Transfer the foodstuff inside your product to a convenient place.
Before the internal cleaning, wait until the temperatures of the internal parts of your product reaches to the ambient
temperature.
Shutting down your product Always wear protective gloves during cleaning and maintenance. This will protect you from injuries.
- Transfer the foodstuff inside your product to a convenient place. Remove the accessories from inside.
- Unplug your product. (Picture 18)
Perform cleaning with a soft cotton cloth and warm soapy water or by using the cleaning agents recommended by
Uğur Soğutma A.Ş.
EN If your product will not be used for a long time, apply following considerations; Dry with a dry cotton cloth. Products, which are not dried, may darken in time. EN
- Clean your product. Otherwise the humidity on the wall may cause darkening of the internal surface.
Make sure that no wet or humid area is left in the internal section after cleaning.
You can reload your product two (2) hours after running your product as stated in this manual.
External cleaning
Clean with a cotton cloth and warm soapy water.
Prevent penetration of cleaning water into the front control panel and lighting section while cleaning.
Clean the door gasket by using clean soapy water only.
Picture 18 SUGGESTION
You can use Uğur branded cleaning agents, which you can get from Authorized Uğur Services for internal
and external cleaning of your device.
CAUTION!
If your product will be stored at an indoor place after shutdown;
• Do not cover it with plastic sheets. Plastic will cause smell and sweating of your product as it does not breat-
he. Corrosion may be seen as the result of sweating.
• Smell formation may occur in cases where you fail to store your product with the door open.

F- THINGS THAT MUST BE DONE BEFORE CALLING AUTHORIZED F- THINGS THAT MUST BE DONE BEFORE CALLING AUTHORIZED
SERVICE SERVICE
Setting the digital thermostat values other than the factory settings are completely under the
user's responsibility. Our company shall not be held responsible for the material and moral losses
that may arise in connection thereto.
58 59
Using the cooler improperly, such as placing it outdoors, not ensuring grounding, or handling it against the manual's guidelines, can void the warranty. These actions often result in damage that the warranty does not cover, as the company's responsibility does not encompass mishandling or unauthorized use .
Before reaching out to authorized service, users should check the connections of sensors like the room and evaporator sensors, adjust any incorrect parameter values, and verify that compressors are functioning correctly. Clearing obstructions in sensors or resetting default parameters might resolve some issues without service intervention .
Using the cooler for items not intended for its design, such as defrosting frozen foods or cooling materials not meant to be refrigerated, can lead to operational inefficiencies, product damage, and increased energy consumption. Such operations can also cause health risks if stored food spoils due to improper environmental conditions .
While transporting the appliance, it must be carried and stored only in its normal operating position to avoid damaging internal components. If transported at an angle greater than recommended, it can disrupt the internal cooling cycle, possibly leading to component failure, which may also result in the loss of warranty rights .
Internal temperatures should be set between +1 and +10°C for optimal operation, with factory settings generally being the most suitable. Adhering to these settings ensures the internal environment maintains consistent and appropriate temperatures for stored goods, avoiding spoilage and reducing the risk of temperature-related alarms. Deviating from factory settings can lead to suboptimal performance and potential losses if improper temperature settings damage the stored contents .
Placing the appliance on a flat surface is crucial to prevent sliding, tilting, or even toppling over, which can lead to physical damage or operational failure. An unstable placement might affect the product's efficiency and void the warranty conditions if it results in damage .
To prevent electrical shocks and fires, ensure that your product is always used with a grounded socket and a suitably secured electrical installation. Avoid using displaced or loose outlets and never attempt to operate the device with a damaged power cable. In case of a power outage, unplug the product and wait at least 20 minutes after power restoration before plugging it back in, as high voltage upon reconnection might damage the product and cause a fire .
Wild animals should not be allowed to interact with the appliance as they can cause physical damage, potentially leading to electrical hazards and fires. Keeping animals away is also a critical safety measure to protect both the appliance and animals from harm or causing unintended accidents .
The USS 374 DTK SRP Vine Cooler uses a different thermostat configuration, where setting 1 yields the coolest temperature and setting 7 the warmest, inverting the usual order found in standard models. This distinction is significant as it tailors the temperature profile to better preserve wines, which require specific conditions to maintain quality, demonstrating product specialization to fulfill targeted needs .
Leaving the cooler doors open or opening them frequently can lead to increased frost accumulation, hindering the cooling effectiveness. This results in higher energy consumption and potential malfunction of the cooling process. Moreover, frequent opening causes temperature fluctuations that can spoil stored food or beverages .
