20th January

2012 No. 3

Dear Parents and Children

Over the next term we are having a crackdown on lateness as there are far too many pupils arriving after the official start time of 8.45am. Please ensure that your child arrives on time as lateness is disruptive both to the child who is late and the children in their class who are disturbed by the arrival when learning has already started. Children who continue to be late will have to catch up during break time and/or lunch time. The Educational Welfare Officer will also be instructed to administer fixed penalty fines to parents of persistent latecomers. Thank you for your cooperation. Mrs. J Anderson Prayer to my Guardian Angel
Angel sent by God to guide me, Be my light and walk beside me; Be my guardian and protect me, On the paths of life direct me. Amen

I have asked Mrs. Driscoll and Mrs. King to assist me in the review process on your behalf as they are currently holding committee roles. However, we will need to hold elections for the posts of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer very soon so that FOSTA can resume its role in the school. If you would like to put your name forward for one of these roles please send me a note by Thursday 25th January saying which one you would be interested in and I will compile some voting forms to go out to all parents. All parents or grandparents are eligible to stand if their child/grandchild is currently in the school.
