ENGLISH CLUB

Task 1:
1. I started learning English when I was ten years old.
2. No, I have not travelled abroad.
3. Yes, I have siblings.
4. My favorite country is Hai Phong city.
5. I learn English twice a week.

Task 2:
I usually use the internet to learn English every day, as I am preparing for the Aptis
English exam. I study grammar, writing, speaking, reading, all on the internet.
Moreover, I have an online English course three times a week.

Task 3:
1. I always spend two hours a day studying English because I want to speak English
fluently, which will help me communicate with foreigners. It gives me the
opportunity to increase knowledge and broaden my horizons and perspectives about
the people.
2. I suggest that English is a popular language in the world, as it is present in many
countries. Almost all meetings, transactions and cooperation between different
countries use English to communicate. Therefore, learning English is a good way to
enrich our general knowledge.
3. I usually use English when I have online English lessons. I use English three times a
week to speak with my teacher, and write email for my friends. It helps me to
increase my knowledge and perspectives about English language.

Task 4:
1.
Dear Mr. Duong,
I hope everything is going well with you. I received an email from the club regarding
the announcement that more and more new words are added to the language. I was
over the moon to hear the news. I suggest that we gladly accept it, as it makes us
richer and more diverse.
Drop me a line soon!
Best wishes,
Uyen Hoang
2.
Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Uyen Hoang, and I have been a member of the club for ten years. I am
writing this email regarding the announcement that more and more new words are
added to the language. To be honest, I was cheerful when I heard about the news. I
would like to suggest some potential actions we can take to improve this issue.
Firstly, if it were up to me, I would welcome new words because I think it shows a
lively language. I believe these words help express new ideas and experiences,
making communication easier.
Another solution would be that to set certain rules for language use, as new words
make the language less rich and clear. We also keep traditions and ensure clear
communication.
I hope that my suggestions will be beneficial for the club.
