THE IMPORTANCE OF STEM EDUCATION FOR YOUNGER MINDS.T

Mankind. Borned with limitless curiosity, craving for wonders and answers. Discoveries

made by geniuses and inventors from the past started from simple questions which lead

towards the peak of innovation. Their achievement in research contributes to the

education system the world enjoys today. STEM which stands for science, technology,

engineering and mathematics opened humanity's eyes about the extent to which the

world can evolve. That’s why STEM plays a really important role for a better future.

Before we step any further, let’s understand the simple definition of each field for

better understanding. Science is observing and experimenting based on hypotheses.

Other than that, technologies are tools made for things to work better and faster. On the

other hand, engineering is a skill to design and create products. Lastly, mathematics

makes us able to explore numbers and patterns. All of these fields have something in

common which is solving problems with calculations and logically. Therefore, STEM

reduces the probability of making mistakes for problem solving.

In my opinion, it is really important to teach children about STEM from a young age

because early exposure leads to greater passion as the generation grows older.

Children can learn across different environments so learning would not only be stuck in

class. To add things up, STEM career choices are undeniably rewarding and interesting

as we work with technologies and tools. Many avid STEM lover tennagers formed
interest because of simple things like baking and playing legos.

In conclusion, creative problem solving which is STEM should be taught to all

children across the globe not only for greater evolution, but also for them to work

smarter, not harder. Involving in STEM also brings people to nature and unity as we do

research in this vast world.
