By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
-respond to other group members’ writing products by providing constructive comments especially on language accuracy.
-edit and correct their own writing pieces in response to the feedback received from teacher and groupmates

ACTIVITIES
PRE-LESSON (Set Induction) Pupils share the progress of their group project with the class.
1. Pupils get into their groups.
2. Pupils work in groups to review and proofread their group members’ recipes and stories. Teacher’s
guidance may be required at this stage.
3. Pupils edit their work in response to the feedback received from teacher and groupmates.
LESSON DEVELOPMENT 4. Pupils combine their final products to form their group’s mini cookbook. The cookbook should be bound
together with the front and back covers that they have created in the previous lesson.
5. Each group exhibits their family cookbook on the class board.
6. Pupils take turns to read other group’s family cookbooks.
2 STARS AND A WISH:
Pupils write down 2 things they like about each group’s cookbook and propose one suggestion to improve it. Pupils

stick the 2 Stars and A Wish notes next to the cookbooks.
