▸ When Paul established the church at Ephesus, he wanted them to know the
way to best wage war against the enemy.
▸ The main area of focus is Ephesians 6:10-20.
▸ Each lesson will be a deep dive into each individual piece of the armor.

▸ The world is at war. A conflict is wreaking havoc on all of creation. Spiritual
warfare is an epic battle with consequences that will reverberate throughout all
of eternity.
▸ Confrontation escalated in the Garden of Eden where Adam was dealt a blow
that would set a precedent for Gods people.
▸ I am speaking not of a war between men but a war between on the spiritual
realm.

▸ The battle Christians face every day are rooted in the schemes of the devil.
▸ He would be perfectly happy for you to picture him as a cartoon character, so
that you would not take him seriously.
▸ You cannot fight the spiritual with the physical.
▸ What we call spiritual warfare is the conflict we cant see but effects the world
we can see.

▸ The scripture shows us whom we fight against.
▸ We fight against rulers, authorities, principalities,and spiritual wickedness in
high places.
▸ We don’t wrestle against flesh and blood. The people are real. The problems
are real. They are just not the root problem.
▸ Therefore you must fight the spiritual on that level, and that requires you to put
on the armor of God.

▸ The pieces of the armor are the belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness,
shoes of peace, shield of faith,helmet of salvation, and the sword of the spirit.
▸ Standing firm in the Armor of God does not stop the battle it just keeps it from
stopping you.
▸ It is believed that Paul was comparing to the Roman Miles foot soldiers armor
something the church at Ephesus would have been familiar with.
