Figure Q1. Assume that the circuit has components with the following values:

A 555 IC is used as a one-shot multivibrator, as shown in Figure Q2. Assume that a sufficient
magnitude of trigger voltage is applied to the multivibrator. Calculate:
(i) the output pulse width. [Answer: t = 17.06 mS]
(ii) the maximum trigger voltage input. [Answer: VT =1.67V]
(iii) the maximum voltage across the 0.47F capacitor. [Answer: VC=3.333V]
Draw the waveforms for the trigger signal, the voltage across the capacitor and the output signal.

An astable multivibrator as shown in Figure Q3, has VCC =10V, RA =5.1k, RB = 2.2k and C1 =
0.022F. Determine the values of Pulse width (T1), space width (T2), free running frequency (fo),
and the duty cycle. Draw the waveforms for pin3 and pin6 of the 555 timer. [Answer: T1 = 111.29s

by assuming that the input is a sinusoidal signal having VPP = 28 V. Assume that the op-amp
