each exercise you will become familiar with the CPD process.
The objective is to determine what your post graduate goals
may be and identify learning opportunities to help you achieve
these goals.

Assignment: The purpose of this exercise is to help identify where you think your career path is heading and to identify areas in need of
improvement/enrichment and development.

Think about where you are at this time in your education/career.

Questions to get you started… 2PD and 3PD students:


- Who are you as a person and why do you want to become a pharmacist? - Did you meet your goals last year?
- How do you view yourself as a professional? - How will your new goals be different from

COMPLETE IN FALL: Create a Personal Learning Plan
Assignment: Create short-term and long-term learning goals (minimum 3 each).
• Short-term goals: things you will learn or accomplish this academic year. TIP: You should have new goals each year!
• Long-term goals: things you will learn or accomplish in the next 3-5 years.

These should follow the Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound (SMART) goal format (refer to your lecture on SMART goals to help you).

Work collaboratively with your Career Coach to refine your goals. Be sure to make them challenging, yet achievable and meaningful to you!

The table below has some example goals to help you get started:
