Faculty Endorsement Date NEW Idea/Paradigm to be pursued: The thesis will
analyze how architecture can be tailored to meet the
needs of the Novo Ecijanos. It will explore traditional
building techniques and materials, considering their
relevance to the local environment and agriculture.
The research will examine existing structures, such as
ancestral homes and communal areas, to assess their
significance today. Additionally, it will investigate how
modern designs can incorporate these traditional
elements to address contemporary challenges.
Alignment to SDG Goal No.: This research aligns
with SDG 11.4, which is about protecting and
safeguarding the world’s cultural and natural heritage.
By focusing on the design of cultural resorts, this
thesis aims to promote sustainable tourism practices
that respect and highlight cultural heritage,
