Describe a hotel that you have stayed in
I had a very bad experience staying in a horrible hotel on holiday. The rooms are small. The
rooms are dark. The rooms are dirty. There is no air-conditioning. The rooms are cold in
winter. There are big windows. The view is terrible, I see many litters and bottles outside the
windows to make it worse the food here is very weird. I don’t like them and have a stomach
ache during the whole trip. Finally, the thing that makes me most dissatisfied is that the
receptionist is very rude and unprofessional when I give them feedback. That is why I want
to warn you never to stay in that hotel.

Currently, I am from Viet Nam. Vietnam is a perfect country. It has many landscapes and
tourist attractions.
2. Do you have a large family?
I live in a nuclear family, including my father, mother, sister, younger brother and me. We
always talk and watch TV together everyday.
3. What does your mother do?
My mother is doing business. She is an early bird. My mom usually gets up early to do
household chores, goes to the market and prepares breakfast for me, and then starts
working. Mom sells eyewear items at her store. Her work is very busy.
4. Do you live with your family?
I live with my family. My family has 5 people including my father, mother, sister, younger
brother and me. Both my father and mother are doing business. My sister has worked and is
currently working as an auditor. My younger brother and I are students.

Currently, I am a grade-10 student at Thach That High School. To be honest, I decided to
choose this school because it is near my house. In addition, it is also renowned for excellent
teaching quality.
1. Talk about Dream Jobs
I want to apply for a position in economic management. That position requires me to have a good
university degree in economics. To work as an economic manager, I must be a good communicator
and work well with numbers. Besides, I should have several personal qualities such as self-
confidence, patience, and good listening skills to do that job.
2. What are your best skills and abilities?
I am an excellent communicator. Typically, I enjoy talking with everyone. My communicator skill has
brought me many benefits such as speaking in front of an audience fluently, making many new
friends,… To apply for the position of human resources manager - my dream job, that skill is
indispensable.
3. What skills do you want to learn?
I feel my body language skill is my weakness. My presentation will be bland if I don’t use body
language. I usually practice in front of the mirror to improve my skills. I hope that I can use that skill
fluently so that I can be confident standing in front of a crowd.
4. What skills and abilities did you have when you were younger?
My skill that I had when I was younger is swimming. I learned it because exercising this way is the
healthiest. Swimming is good for overall health, so I started swimming for the first time at a young
age.

I really wanted to learn to play the piano when I was a kid. However, I haven't had time to try it out
yet. Therefore, next summer I will spend time studying this subject. I like music, so playing the piano
is a perfect option.

1. How did you travel here today?
Today, I took the bus to school. because it was the least expensive means of
transportation. It rained today, and I live a long way from my school. My
commute to school normally takes me 30 minutes.
The fact that riding a motorbike is risky and uncomfortable is why I'm not very
fond of them.
2. How do you prefer to travel in your country?
In terms of transportation, a bicycle is my first choice. It is very accessible,
convenient, and simple to use, making it ideal for navigating Vietnam's
congested streets. Because bicycles are so safe and simple to ride, the
Vietnamese, especially the elderly ones, also favor them.
3. Is traffic a problem in your town?
Yes, there is a serious traffic issue in my town. My neighborhood has severe
traffic bottlenecks. Especially during rush hour, the roadway is quite congested
with both people and vehicles. I always travel for several hours to reach my
destination. Therefore, I believe that in order to assist in solving this issue,
both the general public and the government must pay attention to traffic
regulations.
4. Is it better to walk or cycle where you live?
I think that where I live, walking is preferable to riding. owing to the
narrowness and congestion of my street. Walking additionally minimizes air
pollution as well as other forms of pollution. In addition, it helps us feel better
by regulating our heart rate and building stronger bones.

I believe that public transportation is the greatest method to go about my
community. We can go and explore without worrying about getting lost.
Pollution of the environment has decreased. Transport is also relatively
affordable and secure.
II,
1. Where do you come from?
I am currently from Vietnam, which is part of ASEAN. Vietnam is a perfect
nation. It features a variety of sceneries and tourism destinations.
2. Tell me about the most interesting places in your town?
The Tay Phuong Pagoda is the most fascinating location in my town. The Tay
Phuong Pagoda is a priceless cultural and historical relic and a treasure trove of
sculpture. The pagoda was designated a special national relic in 2014 and a
national historic-cultural relic in 1962, respectively. Millions of visitors are
invited to the temple each year to experience it. The third lunar month marks
the start of the temple's main assembly.
3. What are the oldest and newest parts of your town?
The oldest section of town is where Tay Phuong Pagoda is situated. The newest
section of town is FPT University. The finest things to do in the city are to bike
around the university or go on a walk to the temple. After exhausting work
hours, it will make you feel more at ease and relaxed.
4. Is your town popular with tourists?
No, my town is a really quiet and peaceful spot. There aren't many attractions
for tourists in my town. Life in my town is pretty light and straightforward. My
neighbors are incredibly warm and generous.
5. How could you make your town better?
I believe that I will work to eliminate various types of pollution in order to
improve my town. I need to remind folks to dispose of their trash properly.
Additionally, to lessen the dust and noise produced by autos, trucks, and
trams. Try taking the bus to work rather than your car. My town will see less
traffic congestion and air pollution as a result.
Write about your favourite hobbies
Reading books is an activity that I often do in my free time. I love reading books because it
improves my knowledge. Not only that, but it also helps me release stress after a long day of
hard study. I spend a lot of my free time reading books after finishing my homework and
before going to bed. I read a book for at least 30 minutes every day. I am keen on reading
books by the window or balcony. I prefer reading books to e-books. Reading limits eye
diseases. In addition, it helps to increase intelligence and brain capacity. My favorite book is
a collection of short stories by Nam Cao. The book is about the poverty and hardship of
Vietnamese farmers before the August Revolution of 1945. Through the above story, I
understand the life and previous history of Vietnam. This is a pretty good book that everyone
should read.
DESCRIBE A DISH YOU ENJOY EATING
I would like to talk about my favorite food, which is banh mi. It is an extremely
popular dish in Viet Nam. The main ingredients of banh mi are very
simple and cheap, including: bread, pate, butter, cucumber, chili, egg,..
They are very easy to make. First, you buy bread from the supermarket
then add the other ingredients to make the filling. Then you bake the
baguette,or add a little chili sauce if you like. All ingredients
combined create a unique flavor for the dish. It is a convenient, cheap,
delicious and nutritious dish. I usually eat it with my friend for breakfast
or for a snack after school. Banh mi has become a typical dish of
Vietnamese cuisine /kwɪˈziːn/ and it will always be my favorite dish.
DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM JOB
Today, I would like to tell you about my dream job. It is the job of a
human resource manager who works for a big company. In this job, I
assist the company in recruiting and managing staff. In addition, I will be
the one to promote employee productivity and bond people together. To
be qualified for this position, I need to have a good university degree in
economics. To work as a human manager, I must be a good
communicator and a friendly person to manage staff easily. A human
resources manager is my ideal job for some reasons. I am an extrovert
myself. I like meeting and talking with many different people. Plus, I've
always had confidence and good presentation skills when standing in
front of a crowd. That's all I would like to share with you about my ideal
job.
