bustling around, enjoying the day.

We see MARINETTE sitting at her desk, doodling in her notebook. Her best friend, ALYA,
leans over to look.
ALYA
(whispering)
What are you drawing, Marinette?
MARINETTE
(quickly hiding the drawing)
Uh, just a… a project!
ALYA raises an eyebrow, unconvinced.
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - LATER
The bell rings. Students rush out of class. MARINETTE and ALYA walk through the hallway.
MARINETTE
Did you hear about the new student?
ALYA
Yeah! Everyone’s talking about him. Apparently, he’s super mysterious.
*Suddenly, CHLOE pushes past them, causing MARINETTE to drop her books.*
CHLOE
Move it, losers!
*ALYA rolls her eyes as CHLOE struts away.*
EXT. PARK - DAY
MARINETTE and ALYA sit on a bench. They notice a tall, handsome boy, ADRIEN, talking to
a group of students.
MARINETTE
(slightly starstruck)
There he is…
ALYA
Go talk to him!
*MARINETTE shakes her head, embarrassed.*
INT. MARINETTE’S ROOM - NIGHT
*MARINETTE stares at her sketch of ADRIEN on her desk. She sighs and looks at her
MIRACULOUS (a ladybug-themed accessory).*
MARINETTE
(to herself)
If only I could be more like Ladybug…
*She picks up her phone and scrolls through social media, seeing a post about an upcoming
school dance.*
EXT. SCHOOL DANCE - NIGHT
*The dance is in full swing. MARINETTE, dressed as Ladybug, sneaks in through the back.*
LADYBUG
(whispering)
Time to find out what this new student is up to…
*She spots the new student, LUCAS, standing alone.*
INT. SCHOOL GYM - NIGHT
*LUCAS looks around, seeming nervous. LADYBUG approaches him.*
LADYBUG
Hey there! Enjoying the dance?
LUCAS
(startled)
Uh, yeah! Just... getting used to everything.
*Suddenly, a commotion arises as a villain appears, causing chaos. LADYBUG takes a deep
breath.*
LADYBUG
Looks like it’s time to save the day!
*She springs into action, facing the villain with determination.*
EXT. SCHOOL DANCE - LATER
*The villain is defeated, and everyone cheers. LADYBUG turns to LUCAS.*
LADYBUG
You did great out there!
*LUCAS smiles, revealing he’s not as shy as he seems.*
LUCAS
