Steps to access and configure the Gateway Wi-Fi interface
Connect to the Gateway Wi-Fi AP Station
Being physically close by the Gateway, and using a Laptop/Tablet/Phone, look for available Wi-Fi in the
operating system configuration. The Gateway should show up as dragino-xxxxxx where the xxxxxx
represents a specific number for each gateway (it’s also printed in the gateway labels along with the
model, serial numbers, etc.)
Connect to the gateway Wi-Fi AP using the password:
dragino+dragino
Access the gateway’s Web interface
Once connected, open the internet browser, and enter 10.130.1.1 in the URL address bar. A login
interface should be shown:
Use the following credentials:
User: root
Password: dragino
After logging in, the following screen should be displayed:
Configure the Wi-Fi client
At the top menu, select System -> WiFi -> WiFi WAN Client Settings. The following page should be
displayed:
Follow these steps to configure the new Wi-Fi access:
1. Select the Wi-Fi SSID (name) from the combo control using the small black arrow.
2. Write the Wi-Fi Password in the Passphrase field. Click on the ‘Show’ button to verify the
entered password.
3. Be sure the ‘Enable Wi-Fi Access Point’ option is checked.
4. Be sure the ‘Enable Wi-Fi WAN Client’ option is checked.
5. Click on ‘Save & Apply’ button. Clicking on the ‘Refresh’ button, will refresh the screen with the
new options.
Disconnect from the gateway Wi-Fi AP
At this point, the gateway should be connected to the Wi-Fi, so selecting ‘Home’ at the top menu, the
following screen should be displayed, indicating the gateway is connected to the internet using the Wi-Fi
interface;
The Laptop/Tablet/Phone can be disconnected from the gateway Wi-Fi AP (using the same Wi-Fi
interface configuration used before to connect to it).
