 Build knowledge in the ITIL Foundation framework/books, scope, purpose


and key concepts
 Gain an understanding of how these principles apply to Capgemini within
IT Service Management
 Prepare participants to successfully pass the ITIL Foundation certification
exam

Important Program Notes

• Blended program – each week:


 1 hour facilitated virtual classroom session – provides overview of topic, tips
for learning key concepts, considerations when preparing for the certification
exam
 2-4 hours self-paced study to reinforce learning using web-based learning,
online books, online mentors and study prep exams
Please complete assigned online training before attending the live session. There will be review
questions at the beginning of each session.

Completion of program elements will be tracked. (Enter your Capgemini email address when
logging into Adobe sessions.)

• Recording your certification


 You will be assigned a certification activity in MyLearning
 It will be completed on your behalf when you inform the University team of
the date of your certification (with appropriate documentation)
You will be asked to schedule and sit for the certification exam through an external testing center.
Please seek pre-approval for the certification exam expense. This is typically managed by a
member of your BU HR team, who will provide you with reimbursement approval or an exam
voucher depending on your BU/country policies.

Program Registration & Cancellation

• If you find that you cannot participate in the program after you have
registered, please cancel within the first two weeks of the program
