*Yes, I verify the source to make sure that the information I share is accurate and credible to avoid
sharing false information.
What are the things that you do in order to determine the credibility of the information that you are
about to post?
*I check the credibility of the source, by looking for the author’s credentials, cross-check with other
credible sources, and see if the information is supported by legit evidences.
What do you do when you see a fake news/info posted by a friend or a family member?
*I am informing them politely about the inaccuracy of the information and provide them with correct
information or reliable sources for verification. I am also trying to educate them about the
consequences of their actions.
Have you ever been informed that what you posted is a fake information or news? What did you do?
*Yes, I have. When someone informed me about the fake news that i posted, I automatically deleted
the post and apologized for the mistake. I also made sure that the next time i encounter some public
news, i need to verify it first or check the credibility of this information before posting it.

information is fake?
*Yes, calling out this action is very crucial to prevent the spreading of misinformation. Yes, i
automatically educate (inform) other people and encourage them to check credible sources before
posting any public information.

*By checking the credibility of the source, i distinguish fake news from factual ones. One of the
credible sources that i consider before posting is (The New York times)

What do you think are the possible reasons why a person spreads fake news? Some possible reasons
why some individuals are spreading misinformation, first is the lack of awareness, stupidity, or their
intention is to manipulate public opinion.

- Yes, because I am a person that needs confirmation first before posting something online.

are about to post? -
* I will first verify the source if it is a legitimate information on not. In addition, I will do another
research about it, I'll see if there are additional information about the post that I am about make.
3. What do you do when you see a fake news/info posted by a friend or a family member
- Mostly, I do ignore it. But sometimes, I do approach them (maybe via personal interaction or
through online messaging app like messenger) and tell them that the information that they've posted
is fake and it should not be tolerated.

do? - No, I haven't experienced being informed about my post being fake info or news.

- Yes, I do plan and inform others if an information is fake. But the catch is, I kind of forget doing it.

- When verifying an information, I always visit trusted websites like news websites and more. I always
make sure that the sites that I am visiting are made authentically and not made by people who
wanted to destroy the credibility of a timely and relevant information.

- Yes, I do. I kind of feel guilty and bad when I had misinformed/disinformed pieces of information.

- I think, they wanted to expand their following, gather large amounts of revenue, destroy someone's
or something's reputation, and influencing public opinion.
