Daphne is not safe moving ahead without a proposal since there could be differences in

the population dynamics of the new setting she is supposed to carry on with the procedures.

Despite her experience applying the study techniques, she might need to include other aspects or

variables since the new school is impoverished and racially diverse. Interaction in the new school

might affect or interfere with her research. Moving ahead without a proposal might also limit her

from getting the differences since a proposal is a significant step in research that enhances the

final project. For instance, conducting a proposal includes writing a literature review that would

help Daphne identify the population dynamics (Leedy & Ormrod, 2019). In addition, ethical

consideration is a significant aspect of research, and hence, the lack of a formal proposal is not

ethical since Daphne will lack the essential ethical guidelines related to how the population is

represented and the potential bias that might affect the research process. Therefore, Daphne

should consider writing a formal proposal to avoid institutional and ethical risks.
