What is paint
Paint is a substance used as the final finish to all surfaces
and as a coating to protect or decorate the surface. Paint
is a pigmented opaque material that completely covers
and hides the surface to which it is applied. Paint is
available in oil-based and water-based formulae.
How to fix Pipe leakage
Turn off the water supply used to the leaking pipes and
clean the area around the hole to be patched. Use a
metal file to smooth any sharp edges that might cut
through the patch. Apply the patch and repair clamp so it
evenly overlaps the damaged section of pipe. Tighten the
clamps to seal the leak. Pipe wrench can also be used.
Paving area work
Paving Work means any Paving Work on a Driveway,
including installing, constructing, paving, resurfacing,
sealing, repairing, expanding or altering a Driveway, lane,
roadway or parking area.
It involves knowledge of soils, hydraulics and other
materials, and how these materials react to load or
weight
Brick work
Masonry structures are highly durable. Many
historic buildings and engineering structures
provide proof of this quality. If the masonry
buildings are designed and built with competence
and care, they should last much longer than their
required life. The maintenance costs of masonry
are quite minimal. A well-designed building will
contain the majority of damage within the mortar
and movement joints.
The standard ratio for average mortar mix is 3:1
or 4:1 for bricklaying.
Plastering and pointing
Plastering and pointing are essential finishing techniques
in the construction and maintenance of buildings.
Plastering involves the application of a smooth and
protective layer of plaster or mortar to interior walls and
ceilings, enhancing their appearance and providing a
durable surface. Pointing, on the other hand, focuses on
the exterior, where it involves repairing or renewing the
mortar joints in masonry walls, ensuring structural
integrity, weather resistance, and aesthetic appeal. They
play a crucial role in preserving the integrity and
aesthetics of structures, making them an integral part of
the construction and renovation process.
Cement Punning
Punning is the technique of putting a thin coating of slurry
or mortar to a wall, ceiling, flooring, or plastering surface
made of cement, POP, gypsum, lime, or other specific
binding elements. In some areas, the punning is also
known as a skim coating.
Roof slab
The design of a roof slab represents a critical challenge. It’s not just
about creating an aesthetic element that crowns the building but also
about working on a fundamental component that directly impacts
safety, energy efficiency, and occupant comfort.
The choice of materials, load distribution, waterproofing, and thermal
insulation are just some of the critical variables to consider .
How to fix cracks in the roof?
This type of damage commonly happens when the roof tile
bedding and pointing have been eroded away by water. To
repair the crack, it will require you to go on top of the
roof and remove all the old pointing and bedding. You'll
need to mix a new batch of bedding and re-point the roof
tile.
