There 4 types of work permit used in Saudi Aramco

1. " 11 Lifesaving steps of LOTOTO Program "

Preparation : Identify all energy sources used, Potential hazards & all control
devices.

Notification : Notify all affected employees

Shutdown : Use the relevant stopping procedures for machines/Equipment’s.

Isolation : Disconnect Equipment from the Energy source.

Lockout : Apply LO devices to prevent re energization.

Tagout : Attach tags to provide crucial information & warnings.

Deplete : Ensure All potentially Hazardous Stored/residual energy is relived

confirm equipment & operations are nonfunctional.

Restoration : After maintenance is completed operations can be restored. Ensure

training to all involved employees.
