Guest Arrival and Cocktail Hour(MC waits until most guests have
arrived)
MC: "Ladies and gentlemen, good [evening/afternoon] and welcome to
the beautiful wedding reception of [Bride's Name] and [Groom's
Name]. We are so delighted to have you all here to celebrate this
special day with them. While we wait for the program to begin, please
enjoy the refreshments and mingle with other guests."

(Allow some time for guests to enjoy the cocktail hour before
continuing.)

2. Welcome and Entrance of the Newlyweds

MC: "Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention, please? It’s now time
to welcome our newlyweds! Let’s all stand and give a warm round of
applause for the new Mr. and Mrs. [Last Name] as they make their grand
entrance!"(Optional: Announce the bridal party before the couple enters.)MC:
"First, let’s welcome the bridal party! Please give a big hand to [Names of
Bridesmaids and Groomsmen]!"(After bridal party enters, introduce the
couple.)MC: "And now, it’s my great honor to introduce, for the first time, Mr.
and Mrs. [Bride's Name] and [Groom's Name]! Let’s give them a huge round
of applause!"(Couple enters to their chosen song, and guests clap and
cheer.)

3. Blessing or Prayer (Optional)MC: "Before we proceed to the meal, we


would like to invite [Person's Name] to lead us in a blessing/prayer."(Person
gives a short blessing or prayer.)

4. Dinner is Served

MC: "Ladies and gentlemen, dinner is now served. Please enjoy your meal as
we continue the celebration with beautiful music. Feel free to continue
enjoying the evening with good company."

(Allow guests time to enjoy dinner. If buffet style, announce table orders for
going to the buffet.)

5. Toasts and Speeches(After the dinner or during the latter part of the
meal.)MC: "Now, ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to hear from a few
important people who would like to share some special words for our lovely
couple. First, let’s welcome the Best Man, [Best Man’s Name], to give his
toast!"(Best Man gives toast.)

MC: "Thank you, [Best Man’s Name]! Now, let’s hear from the Maid of Honor,
[Maid of Honor’s Name]!"(Maid of Honor gives toast.)MC: "Thank you, [Maid
of Honor’s Name]! If there are any parents or family members who would like
to say a few words, we invite them to the microphone at this time."(Optional:
Parents or other family members give speeches.)

6. Cake Cutting

MC: "Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for one of the sweetest moments of the
evening—the cutting of the wedding cake! Let’s gather around and watch as
[Bride's Name] and [Groom's Name] share this special moment
together."(Couple cuts the cake and feeds each other a bite, while guests
watch and cheer.)

7. First DanceMC: "And now, we have all been waiting for the first dance!
[Bride's Name] and [Groom's Name] have chosen [Song Title] for their first
dance as husband and wife. Let’s all give them a round of applause as they
take the dance floor!"(Couple dances their first dance.)8. Parent Dances
(Optional)MC: "And now, we invite [Bride’s Name] to share a special dance
with her father, [Father’s Name]."(Father-Daughter dance.)MC: "Next, we
invite [Groom’s Name] to share a special dance with his mother, [Mother’s
Name]."(Mother-Son dance.)9. Open DancingMC: "The dance floor is now
open! Please join the newlyweds on the dance floor and let’s celebrate this
wonderful occasion!"(Music plays and guests join the dance floor.)

10. Bouquet and Garter Toss (Optional)MC: "Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time
for the bouquet toss! All the single ladies, please make your way to the
dance floor!"(Bouquet toss.)MC: "Now it’s the gentlemen’s turn! All the single
men, gather around for the garter toss!"(Garter toss.)

11. Thank You and Final RemarksMC: "As we near the end of this beautiful
celebration, [Bride’s Name] and [Groom’s Name] would like to take a
moment to thank all of you for being here today. It means the world to them
to have your love and support."(Newlyweds thank the guests briefly.)12.
Send-OffMC: "Now, it’s time to send off our newlyweds in style! Please gather
outside with your sparklers/confetti/balloons, and let’s give [Bride’s Name]
and [Groom’s Name] the grand exit they deserve!"(Guests participate in the
send-off, and the couple departs.)
MC: "Thank you all for joining us to celebrate this wonderful day. Have a
great [evening/night]!"
