Perpendicular line:
Two distinct lines intersecting each other at 90° or a right angle are called perpendicular
lines.
We write AB ⊥ XY.
Here, AB is perpendicular to XY because AB and XY intersect each other at 90°.
Perpendicular Bisectors: Perpendicular bisectors are lines that divide a given line
segment exactly into two halves forming 90 degrees at the intersection point.
Perpendicular bisectors pass through the midpoint of a line segment.
Here, AB is perpendicular bisector of PQ because AB and PQ intersect each other at 90°
and PF and FQ are equal.
