Public Affairs for the 2025 Indiana Legislative Session. As a senior at Florida State University majoring
in International Affairs with a minor in Economics and Business, I have cultivated strong analytical,
research, and communication skills that align with the qualifications outlined for this role. My academic
background, combined with my experience working on campaigns and analyzing public policy, has
provided me with the tools to contribute effectively to your team.

I am particularly drawn to this position because of its immersive nature, offering an opportunity to have a
daily presence at the Indiana Statehouse and actively engage in the legislative process. Having been a
campaign intern at the circuit court level, I am familiar with the demands of government affairs and have
developed the ability to succinctly communicate complex public policy. My organizational skills,
commitment to detail, and self-motivated nature ensure I can provide valuable support to the
VanceMitchem state government relations team.

During my time at Florida State, I honed my research skills by analyzing economic policy and regulatory
issues, which I believe would serve me well when researching Indiana Code or summarizing client
communications. I am confident that my adaptability and eagerness to learn will allow me to contribute
meaningfully to your weekly publications and legislative committee coverage.

The opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the legislative process while learning from experienced
professionals excites me. I am enthusiastic about the possibility of joining your team and contributing to
the success of VanceMitchem Public Affairs during the 2025 Indiana Legislative Session. I am available
