plans to get Portia and pay his debts back to Antonio. (Act 1,
Scene 1).
2. “I will feed fat the ancient grudge I bear him” - Shylock states
that if he can get Antonio in a tight corner he will get his
revenge. (Act 1, Scene 3)
3. “I like not fair terms and a villain's mind” - Bassino doubts
Shylock's intentions on giving the bond. (Act 1, Scene 3).
4. “Mislike me not for my complexion” - Prince of Morocco asks
Portia not to judge him by his skin colour. Another quote to
show the theme of prejudice. (Act 2, Scene 1)
5. “‘All that glisters is not gold.” Prince of Morocco states that not
everything that appears attractive on the surface is actually
