Automatic Corrections Import Tool – Setup Guide February 2011
Introduction
The Panaya automatic correction solution finds upgrade-related defects and generates
the corrected code for uploading to your ECC6 development or sandbox SAP system.
In order to load the code changes to your SAP system, you first have to install the
Panaya Corrections Import program on your SAP system.
This guide will take you through the steps of installing this program on your SAP
system.

Prerequisites
Before starting the process, make sure that you have the following privileges:
1. Access to your upgraded ECC6 development or sandbox SAP system.
2. User with development permission—allowing the creating and executing of
programs.

Installation
The installation process consists of downloading and installing the Panaya Automatic
Corrections Import Tool from the Panaya Web site.
Download and Install Panaya Automatic Corrections Import Tool
In this step you will download and install Panaya’s ABAP Automatic Corrections Import
Tool on your SAP system.
The import tool should be executed on your upgraded ECC6 development or sandbox
SAP system—the same system from which the code extraction was sent.
The import tool will load all code corrections generated by Panaya, and approved by
you, to your SAP system.
Download Panaya Automatic Corrections Import Tool
1. Go to the Panaya Web site at https://my.panayainc.com.
2. Enter your login details.
3. Click on the System Setup tab.

4. From the Select System dropdown list, select the desired system.
5. Click on the Automatic Corrections Import Tool link.

6. The ABAP source code is displayed in the textbox.
7. Copy the source code displayed on the screen to your SAP system and save it
under a new program name ZPANAYA_IMPORT_ACC as an executable
program.
Install Panaya Automatic Corrections Import Tool
See Appendix A for detailed instructions on how to create an executable program in an
SAP system.

Appendix A – How to Install the ABAP program
To install the ABAP program, log in to your SAP development system and perform the
following steps:
To create a new development class
Create a new development class for Panaya ABAP program:
1. Start Transaction SE80.
2. Select the object type development class/package from the drop-down menu.
3. Type the development class/package name ZPANAYA and press Enter.
4. Select ―Yes‖ to create a new development class/package.
5. Choose a transport layer and select ―Save‖.
To create an executable ABAP program, follow the procedure below
1. Start transaction SE38.
2. Type the program name in the ―Program‖ field and select ―Create‖.
3. Enter the program name as ―Title‖, set the ―Type‖ as ―Executable program‖
and press Enter or select ―Save‖.
4. When prompted for development class/package, choose ZPANAYA and press
―Save‖.
5. If prompted for a change request, enter a workbench change request or create
a new one.
6. Press the button above the editor or choose from the menu:
UtilitiesMore UtilitiesUpload/DownloadUpload…
7. Choose the appropriate text file that you saved and select ―Open‖.
8. Activate the program by pressing the button or choose from the menu:
ProgramActivate.
