Discipline Committee
Goals and success are connected through discipline. Therefore, education should
instill in students the moral and ethical principles of welfare and make every
effort to infuse learning with fundamental human values.

Vision

To instill discipline in students by fostering a positive, supportive


environment at our college.

Mission

 To have a positive outlook when attempting to instill discipline in students.


 To establish a committee and regulations to uphold discipline on college
property.
AIMS
1. The Disciplinary Committee is essential to keeping the college disciplined.
It takes notice of any grievances or accusations made against college students.

2. The Disciplinary Committee is tasked with raising awareness of and


working to stop any negative situations from happening on the college campus.

3. The Disciplinary Committee is responsible for ensuring adherence to the


guidelines established by the UGC Regulations for reducing the threat of
indiscipline behaviour on campus.
4. The Disciplinary Committee is responsible for monitoring and supervising
the responsibilities and actions regarding the avoidance of student indiscipline.

5. The Disciplinary Committee will control student behaviour by creating a


well-thought-out apparatus to address threats of indiscipline and disorder.

6. If the students are found responsible for acts that constitute a


misdemeanor on campus, the Disciplinary Committee may impose sanctions on
them.

Objectives
The committee mainly focuses on:

 Addressing topics that concern students and creating a safe atmosphere for
students at the college.
 Educating the kids about the regulations, guidelines, and requirements they
must adhere to.
 Enforcing disciplinary measures against any misbehavior.

Responsibilities of Discipline Committee


 To maintain a calm and serene learning environment on campus.
 To prevent on-campus fights among students.
 To guarantee that all students enter the school while wearing ID cards.
 To forbid pupils from using cell phones on campus.
 To keep an eye on how the college's students are moving and stop them
from loitering in the hallway during class times.
 To stop students from leaving the college without the department head's
prior approval.
 Stringent prohibitions against the use of drugs, alcohol, and tobacco on
college campuses.

 To uphold appropriate order in the college canteen and the waiting area for
students.
 To aid the anti-ragging committee at the college in stopping ragging there.

Rules And Regulations of the Committee

 To ensure that every student is aware of the rules governing behaviour on


campus and at the institution;
 To inspire students to uphold discipline when it is called for.
 Inform the students right away if they exhibit any signs of indiscipline. If
you discover persistently indiscipline behaviour by the same pupils, you
must take disciplinary action in accordance with the committee's Rules and
Regulations.
 Maintaining the college's general order.
 Observing how the pupils are acting morally overall
 Prohibiting the use of drugs, smoking, and carrying weapons on campus.
 Preventing attempts to undermine the college's tranquil atmosphere by
engaging in any indiscipline, such as yelling in the hallways, fighting, or
raising slogans.
 Ensuring college property security, monitoring trespassing, etc.
 Examining any student misbehaviour in their interactions with other
students, teachers, and college employees.
 Preventing students from participating in any kind of political activity on
campus or declaring their political allegiances by wearing student
federation badges, etc.
 Making sure each kid wears their id card throughout their time in the
maintaining overall discipline in the college.

 Keeping an eye on the general moral behaviour of the students.


 Discouraging smoking, use of narcotics and carrying arms on the campus.
 Putting a check on the attempts to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere of the
college by
indulging in any sort of indiscipline, such as raising slogans, shouting in
corridors,
quarrelling etc.
 Ensuring security of college property, checking trespassing etc.
 Checking any misbehaviour on part of students in their dealings among
themselves andwith teachers or other staff of the college.
 Preventing students from indulging in political activities of any sort on the
campus or
showing their political affiliations by displaying badges of student
federations etc.
 Ensuring that each student wears his id card during his stay in the college
premises.
