“philanthropist” Drew Carrington and stumbled across this Cambodia-centric website.
ou see, Miami amigos, in late 2004 Kenneth Wilcox, already a convicted thief, was facing [new

criminal charges] out of Broward County for DUI, eluding police, and stealing his landlord’s
furniture. So he jumped bail and fled to Cambodia to start a new life.
ilcox became well known in Cambodia social circles as a radio show host who also ran a

psychology practice, despite not being licensed to practice psychology in the USA. According to
the Cambodia Daily newspaper, Wilcox also claimed he was[an heir to the Gillette shaving
cream fortune] and promised to fund a conference on child rape in Cambodia with $500,000 of
his own money.
ventually, the FBI [charged Wilcox with international flight from prosecution]. Cambodian

police [arrested him at the direction of the FBI], and he was sent back to Florida in late 2010 to
serve jail time.
ilcox has been gone from Cambodia for more than a decade, but not forgotten. Khmer440

etween 2011 and 2017, Wilcox married his Cambodian boyfriend Tek Lim, [got arrested for

attacking and trying to choke Tek Lim], got divorced Tek Lim, got arrested (again) for DUI,
claims he was the victim of an attack on the beach by two black guys shouting “all faggots need
to die,” and started dating a younger man named Diamante Jones.

Poppins.” Wilcox frequently tweets about his supposed wealth and luxury homes in the USA and
in England.
hen we last checked in on Dr. Wilcox, er, Carrington in April 2019, he was telling suckers in

Miami that he was a London aristocrat, the “8th Baron Carrington,” who would soon join the
House of Lords when his ailing grandmother died. He promised to fly guests from Miami to
London on a private jet to attend his lavish wedding to Diamante Jones at the family home he
inherited:

harmless fun or as a way to pick up chicks. We’ve all done that.
o, Wilcox projects this image of an influential, wealthy British businessman and

definitely-not-a-stealer-of-furniture-and-jackets as a way to get appointed to positions of trust
with charitable organizations that raise money from members of the public.
ccording to his impressive “Dr. Drew Carrington” LinkedIn profile, he is the Executor of

“Carrington Trust UK” and owns a hotel in Manhattan called “Carrington at the Nomad,” a three
story nightclub venue in Miami called “Diamante,” and a Miami Beach hotel called “Carrington
at the Astor.”
is LinkedIn profile also states that he is a member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of

the Board of Advisors for Unity Coalition, an LGBTQ advocacy organization. Public records
show that he was the Treasurer of that organization.
e claims to be a member of the Board of Directors for UCP Baby House in Project Fort

Lauderdale, a volunteer projectto build a home foryoung adults with cerebral palsy and other
disabilities. He also says he is the Vice President and Director of Advocacy for Society's Choice
Florida and a member of the Executive Committee of a philanthropic organization called Friends
of New World Symphony.
astly, Wilcox’s LinkedIn profile states that heis“Director of Fundraising” for a Cambodia

based non-governmental organization called “Share the Health Cambodia.” Most charities tend
not to appoint destitute convicted thieves as their Treasurers and Directors of Fundraising, if they
know the person’s true background and financial status.
So did that 2019 wedding in London happen?
ike the child rape conference in Cambodia that Wilcox reportedly promised to fund with

$500,000 of his own money, the wedding at his London “estate” didn’t happen. Wilcox called
off the wedding, claiming that his imaginary wealthy British grandmother was suddenly taken
off life support after being in a coma for five months.
That’s so sad. How has he been doing since then?
ilcox has been doing amazingly well, if you go by his narcissistic Twitter feed and delusional

LinkedIn page. But if you go by reality and recent public records, he’s not doing well at all.
he 51 year-old Wilcox has been arrested at least seven times in south Florida during the last

1. February 17, 2020 arrest - Wilcox tries the old fake name and date of birth gambit
oberto Serrano, the manager of a Capital One Café in downtown Miami, is tired of Ken

Wilcox. He called 911 to report that a customer named “Ken” with whom there had been
“instances” in the past had returned to the premises. Serrano wanted him trespassed from the
property.
he 911 dispatcher asked Serrano “Were weapons involved or mentioned?” and Serrano

responded “In the past they have been, but as of right now, no.”
Serrano mentioned that Ken was in one of their “nooks” with a little dog that’s always with him.
errano added that “according to corporate security intel” the customer had a warrant for his

arrest from Broward County and “We were given someintel that he is sort of a conman.”

Three Miami Beach police officers arrived, with body cameras rolling:

he police spoke to Serrano and then asked Wilcox for his ID so they could check him for any

arrest warrants. Wilcox said he didn’t have ID.
Then police asked for his name. He said his name was “Drew Carrington.”
he cops asked “Do you live here?”, and Wilcox lied, saying, “no,” that he was “British” and

only staying in Miami “part time.”
he police asked for his date of birth. He told them the correct month and day but gave a false
T
year of birth, 1969.
he police asked if he had prior issues at the café, and he said “Oh, no no, I’ve been a great
T
person, I know everybody . . . Rob’s a good friend of mine, they’re all good friends of mine . . . I
came in here with an NFL star last weekend.”
few minutes later, one of the officers asked “Drew Carrington” for his social security number

to check it for warrants. Wilcox, who was born in Massachusetts, responded “I don’t ‘ave one,

elieve it or not, this ploy almost worked. The dim-witted police officers checked the name

Drew Carrington. With a false date of birth and no social security number, they found no
warrants. They apologized, removed the handcuffs, and told a cheery Wilcox he could leave.
hat’s when Wilcox’s “good friend” Rob Serrano spoke up and told the dopey cops that “Drew

Carrington’s” real name is Ken Wilcox. The cops asked “Drew Carrington” if that was true, and
he said “I use both names.”
n annoyed officer Lopez then threatened to bring a fingerprint reader, and Wilcox quickly

blurted out his social security number, despite claiming minutes earlier he didn’t have one. The
cops found the Broward County arrest warrant, and they arrested Wilcox and his little dog,
Klonopin.

ilcox was taken to Miami-Dade County jail, where he stayed for two days until Broward

County sheriff’s officers picked him up. He then bonded out of jail the next day.

2. January 6, 2021 arrest - Wilcox twice found squatting at an abandoned mansion
t 7:50 a.m., police officers on routine patrol found Kenneth Wilcox and his little dog on the

back patio of this abandoned waterfront mansion at 1386 S. Venetian Way in the ultra-rich
“Venetian Islands” community in Biscayne Bay. The property was fenced, with a no trespassing
sign, and a line of police tape stating “Miami Police Line, Do Not Cross.”
olice had previously encountered Wilcox squatting at the same house and warned him not to

return. This time, they arrested him for trespass, after Wilcox acknowledged that he knew the
property was abandoned and that it was wrong for him to be there.
he estimated value of the property on Zillow.com in 2021 was $6.5 million because of its prime

ddly, just two days earlier, Wilcox had complained on Twitter about a neighbor calling cops on

him for trespassing on a newly purchased property:

3. February 12, 2021 arrest - The notorious suspected fitting room thief slips up
n January 30, 2021, Wilcox posted a photo on Instagram boasting that he was a big spender in

the “VIP dressing room” at Saks Fifth Avenue in Brickell City Centre mall in downtown Miami.
He dickishly hashtagged that photo “#myclothescostmorethanyourrent.”
ix days later, on February 5, 2021, security officers at that same Saks Fifth Avenue store

contacted police because their surveillance cameras captured a white male with a little dog taking
a $378.00 jacket off the rack and walking out without paying for it.

he Saks security officer told police “This guy, he always comes in here and steals from the

fitting room, but today we caught him on camera . . . . He comes in with the dog all the time . . .
supposedly he’s known in the mall . . . he comes in the mall every day.”
e added that the subject’s last name was “Wilcox” and “supposedly he’s like a big fraud guy,

he Saks security officer said Wilcox came in two days earlier and stole from the fitting room,

but they don’t confront and detain customers who steal from fitting rooms.
e told the police officer, “He’s been hitting our fitting rooms,” but today, Wilcox just took a

jacket off the rack and brazenly walked out with it, in full view of cameras.
he police officer reviewed the video of the crime and said “Perfect!” and asked the Saks

security guy to call if he saw Wilcox again.
week later, on February 12, Wilcox and his little dog returned to the mall, and security officers

detained him and called police again. The responding police officer reviewed the video footage
of the February 5 jacket theft, arrested Wilcox, and booked him into jail.
I t’s unknown if Wilcox targeted Saks Fifth Avenue because he is [banned from Neiman Marcus
stores after his conviction for stealing a Burberry jacket in 2003][redact ss#].
ilcox posted bail, and then not surprisingly jumped bail by failing to appear in court. Judge

Twenty years ago, Wilcox did buy a 1/52nd fractional timeshare giving him access to a condo on
Marco Island for a single week every year. But then he got sued and his timeshare interest was
foreclosed on because he failed to pay the annual fees of about $400 a year.
