6. CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
All classes must be attended regularly and punctuality is a must.
All learning and assessment activities must be actively participated.
Attendance for tests and model examinations is mandatory.
The library must be used only during designated library hours.
Submitting records, observation notebooks, and assignments on
time is compulsory.
Test schedule is as mentioned below
7. LEAVE APPLICATION
Prior approval must be obtained from the Class Counselor (CC) and Head of
Department (HOD) before taking any leave.
In case of illness, The CC and HOD must be informed immediately; CCs should
contact parents and arrange for the student to go home if necessary.
A medical certificate must be provided if the leave exceeds three days.
A minimum of 75% attendance in each subject must be maintained to be eligible for
university examinations.
8. ON DUTY
On Duty will be granted to students to take part in Paper / Project presentations / Inter
Collegiate meet.
9. ACCOLADES / APPRECIATIONS / CERTIFICATION FOR STUDENTS:
Students who secures 1 st, 2nd and 3rd place in End semester exams will be honored
during the Achiever’s day.
Students with 100 % attendance in each academic year will be awarded.
10. INSTRUCTIONS TO HOSTEL STUDENTS
In order to go home hostel students must have their leave letter signed by the Warden,
CC, HOD, and Principal.
The students are instructed to keep their belongings safe.
Hostel students should not bring the day scholar inside hostel.
The students should follow the Mess timings.
MESS TIMINGS (Hostellers)
Breakfast : 7.30 am – 8.40 am
Lunch : 12.45 pm – 1.30 pm
Snacks : 4.45 pm – 5.30 pm
Dinner : 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm

INFORMATION TO PARENTS
1. ODD Semester Classes (2024-25) for I year UG students will commence on 05/09/2024
(Thursday). 100% Attendance is a must. Absenteeism will not be accepted.
2. Students must avail leave only after getting permission from their Class Counselor (CC)
and Head of Department (HoD). On emergency, information about leave must be given to
Class Counsellor.
3. If the student is absent to the classes, CC will intimate you through phone call and message
4. Parents must come in person and meet the HoD, if their ward is absent for more than 3
days.
5. The College works from 9.00 am to 4.30 pm.
6. Students must be inside the campus by 8.50 am and leave the campus only after 4.30 pm.
7. Permission must be availed from the HoD and Principal, if they want to leave before 4.30
pm.
8. All the Students must come in proper formal dresses on all days.
9. Male students must come in formal and tucked in shirt and pants with proper hairstyle
10. Female students must come only in chudidhar and pinned shawl. Leggings and palazzo
pants are not allowed.
11. Fees for this semester must be paid on or before 20/09/2024.
12. Parents are asked to meet their ward’s teaching faculty members at least once a semester,
to know about their academic progress.
13. Parents must provide their correct and active phone numbers to their ward’s Class
Counsellor. They must also receive the phone numbers of HoD and Class teacher for telling
any information.
14. Students coming in college bus must not get down in the middle of the journey without
getting permission from parents and class teacher.
15. Students coming in two-wheelers must compulsorily wear helmet and must have their
driving license. Students without helmet will not be allowed entry into the campus.

HOSTEL RULES AND REGULATIONS
General Rules
1. The students should stay only in the room allotted to them by the Deputy Warden. They should
not interchange their rooms without the knowledge of the Deputy Warden. The furniture also should
not be interchanged.
2. Ragging in any form is not permitted and those who violate this rule will be expelled from the
institution.
3. Playing cards, any other form of gambling, playing tape recorders, using water heater, Iron box,
electric cookware, etc are strictly prohibited in the hostel.
4. Students are forbidden to smoke, to write or make any marks on the wall or put notice of any kind
in the hostel premises.
5. Parents are permitted to visit their son/daughter/warden between 4:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. on
working days or between 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. on holidays/weekends. No visitor is allowed to
enter the rooms of the inmates; however, they will be permitted up to hostel visitor's room.
6. Visitors are not allowed to meet their wards after 6.00 p.m.
8. Request, petition, appeals, complaints of any kind have to be made to the Warden / Deputy
Warden.
9. Students are not allowed to organize or attend any meeting or celebration in the hostel without the
permission of Warden / Deputy Warden.
10. No students shall stay in the Hostel during the college working hours without the permission of
Warden / Dy. Warden.
11. For Boys - local outing once in a week, two hours will be permitted. Sunday outing may be
extended up to 3 hrs. For Girls- local outing is allowed two Sundays every month and they should
return before 1.00p.m. Students may be permitted to go out with a “Gate Pass.
12. All the inmates of Hostel should return to hostel before 6.00 p.m every day.
13. Students are not permitted to play outdoor games inside the hostel premises.
14. Leave letters may be signed and forwarded by the Class In-charges to the principal through the
respective HOD with his/her recommendation and submitted to the Deputy warden. Students are
permitted to go home only after getting permission from Warden / [Link] and registering their
name in the register kept in the hostel.
15. If students leave the hostel without permission, the hostel authorities are not responsible for it
and also heavy penalty will be imposed on them. If they repeat such mistakes, they will be
terminated from the hostel.
16 The students are advised to not to keep Money, Mobile Phone, Jewel or any other costly things in
their rooms. The hostel authorities are not responsible for the loss.
17. Students should use the college phone in the hostel for minimum time (not more than 3 minutes).
Students should instruct their parents to call them only on holidays other than emergency calls.
19. If complaints received from any of the inmates for disturbing others unwantedly, serious action
will be taken.
20. Days scholars should not enter the hostel and if found they will be fined.
21. If a resident falls sick, they or their room-mate/friend should immediately inform the Deputy
Warden. If students want to go to hospital, they must inform the Deputy Warden.
22. Students must switch off the lights and fans and close taps when not in use.
24. Misusing Lap-top and watching movies on Laptop are strictly prohibited.
25. When the hostellers go out for shopping or any other purpose they should take care of their
safety. Management will not be responsible for any untoward incident that happens outside the
college campus.
26. If any hosteller wants to join any course conducted by outside agencies, he should get a letter of
admission from such agencies before getting the permission from the HoD/Principal.
27. Letters and parcels will be given to the person concerned only after the perusal of the Deputy
Warden.
FEES
28. Those who would like to vacate the hostel can do so only at the end of the academic year. If
anyone vacates in the middle of the year he has to pay full year fees.
29. The hostel deposit paid at the time of admission in to hostel will be refunded only at the end of
the course. The hostel deposit will not be refunded to those who vacate the hostel in the middle of
the course. The hostel deposit will not be adjusted against mess dues, Tuition fees or any other dues.
30. Reduction in the mess bill is allowed only if the numbers of days is more than 10.
STUDY HOURS
32. Attendance will be taken at any time during the study hours. The students should not come out of
their rooms during the study hours. Discussion during the study hours is not permitted. They should
make use of the study hours properly. Students should not lock the rooms during the study hours or
before 10.30 pm unless specified by the Deputy warden.
[Link] are not allowed to roam during the study hours. Members should not go to other
inmate's room.
35. Silence hours starts at 11pm and goes up to 6.00a.m. Lights should be switched off by 11 pm.
36. Daily attendance at the given time is compulsory and will be taken at the specified time
regularly.
MESS
37. Hostellers should maintain the queue system while getting the food from the canteen.
38. No hosteller should waste any food. The food remains should be dropped in the dustbin.
Hostellers are requested to put used disposable cups and such other things in the dustbin.
39. No hosteller should wash his hands in the eating plates. After eating, plates and tumblers should
be kept in the allotted place.
40. Hostellers should not damage any vessels or any other articles in the kitchen and mess. If
someone does it, he has to pay the full amount for the damaged articles.
41. Food or any other article from the dining room or kitchen should not be taken to the rooms.
42. Hostellers should follow decent dress code when they come to the dining room. Night dress or
Lungi should be avoided.
44. Apart from the above rules, other rules framed by the hostel authorities from time to time should
also be followed strictly.
45. Regarding the interpretation of the hostel rules and regulations, decision of the warden will be
the final.
