INTRODUCTION
Police organizations are now part of the community. Police must
operate among a community of perpetrators in need of assistance. The
community criticizes and supports the police, but above all, it assesses
how well they are doing their jobs. Permanent roadblocks authorized by
the PNP must be managed by local uniformed staff. Other units may set
up mobile checkpoints in coordination with the commander of the local
unit or station. Checkpoints are useful for spotting contraband and
security risks, but they could be made better. Setting up check points
before entering a city helps enforce circulation control measures and
other laws, orders, and regulations when there is a need to arrest a
criminal or fugitive from justice are a means of enforcing law.
Doing checkpoints are frequently used to stop and question
motorists who are believed to be driving while intoxicated, increased
visibility and decreased risk of car accidents are two benefits of these
checkpoints. Checkpoints prevent criminal activity, acts of terrorism, and
infractions related to the administration it aims to improve relations and
public safety in order to reduce the number of unregistered, unlicensed,
car-napped, and drunken drivers, the research will assist the Tagum City
Police Office and all motor vehicle drivers entering the city in improving,
maintaining, and enforcing the order. Drivers and residents of Tagum
City will comprehend the necessity of police check points for safety.
Tagum City Police, drivers, and residents will benefit from this study.
Law enforcement officers stop cars and drivers at checkpoints so
they can inspect them. This is being introduced as a result of crimes
committed by criminals, including driving without a license, unlawful gun
ownership, bringing contraband, driving while sober, drug testing, and
other offenses. The work of a police officer is not easy. The work
requires a danger to one's life to be done. Given that it's quite often
these days that many crimes are done as a result of automobiles
carrying unapproved products like narcotics, contraband, the threat of
terrorism, etc., the guarantee public safety is in jeopardy. Therefore, in
order to maintain public safety, peace, and order, police officers must

EFFECTIVENESS AND IMPLEMENTATION

The successful accomplishment of intended objectives or actions

is referred to as effective implementation. In order to accomplish
intended results, it entails the appropriate implementation of strategies,
policies, or practices. Leadership, organizational support, motivation,
and impact evaluation are just a few of the variables that affect effective
implementation. It necessitates thorough preparation, communication
with important parties, and evaluation of actual resources and
circumstances. For sustainability, it may be necessary to handle
obstacles and issues that arise during the implementation process.
Implementation success depends on a number of elements, including
igniting, organizational support, persistence, and impact evaluation.
Effective implementation is essential to accomplishing policy goals and
resolving real-world issues in the setting of public policy. Stable,
harmonic, and orderly societal growth depends on it. Study says tha
through our work, we hope to increase the competency and capacity of
these partner organizations' employees, enabling them to develop,
implement, and maintain successful implementation strategies even after
our engagement ends. Additionally, we work to increase our employees'
knowledge and capacity to offer outside implementation help for change
initiatives carried out by service systems and partner organizations.
Thus, a deeper knowledge of what is required to offer efficient
implementation support and how these competences may be developed
is of importance to both the organizations we work for and us as their
leaders. (Metz et al, 2020).

Effective Implementation refers to the process of developing a

strategy for successfully implementing intervention programs by
ensuring that they are specific, useful, beneficial, and effective in the
workplace. It includes clear correspondence custom fitted to the crowd,
focusing on high-risk people, taking into account industry contrasts, and
coordinating ergonomic arrangements from the start to accomplish long
haul specialist wellbeing. (Applied Ergonomics, 2018)
POLICE CHECKPOINT
Police Checkpoint is a roadblock that is mandated by uniformed
personnel to conduct inspections when entering and exiting a
municipality. A study that roadside sobriety checkpoints are interventions
in which law enforcement officers stop passing automobiles to determine
whether the drivers are impaired. There is clear evidence that a roadside
sobriety checkpoint program is a successful way to reducing alcohol-
related motor vehicle crashes, most likely due to general deterrent
effects on the overall driver population (Morrison et al, 2019). Having
roadside sobriety helps to reduce road accidents, car crashes, crimes,
and terrorism one tool used by the police is the checkpoint. They are
frequently employed to pull over and question drivers who appear to be
impaired by alcohol.
A checkpoint is a location where law enforcement officers stop
cars and pedestrians to enforce traffic control legislation as well as other
laws, orders, and regulations. Checkpoints are put in place to enforce
laws, orders, and regulations pertaining to circulation control as well as
to make arrests of criminals and anyone who are evading the law.
Moreover, fixed checkpoints are used to stop the spread and transfer of
illicit tools and to stop those with criminal histories and intentions from
escaping (Vicente [Link], 2020)
The advantages of these checkpoints include improved visibility
and a decreased risk of an automobile accident (Fisher, 2023). Having
police checkpoints before entering a municipality is a useful plan for
them to identify if the driver is an abusive driver, criminal driver, or a
drunk driver to avoid causing trouble on the way. The importance of
police checkpoints in the Philippines cannot be exaggerated. They are
established to maintain public safety by conducting spot checks that
deter criminals on the streets. The PNP usually sets up checkpoints
during election season and other times when an increased police
presence is required, such as preventing lawbreakers from fleeing a
crime scene or apprehending a criminal or fugitive from justice (Isla,
2023)
Most people do not have a concern for crime prevention. The
national government uses a number of strategies known as crime
prevention to help local government entities fight crime. These strategies
may include mobile or foot patrol, imposing curfew hours, information
dissemination, and [Link], the primary aim of crime
prevention is to ensure the safety of the community.
