CHRISTMAS STAR

Tools/Materials Stitch Guide


Crucci Machine Wash 8ply wool
4mm crochet hook (or similar) Ss Slip stitch
Tapestry needle
Ch Chain stitch

HDC Half-Double Crochet


Tips: Guage is not important for this project.
DC Double Crochet
This pattern is written in American (US) crochet
terms. You will work in joined rounds. Adjustable loop

Pattern:

Round 1: In an adjustable loop – Ch 3, 2 DC; *Ch 1, 2 DC**; repeat from * to ** twice more; Ch 1, DC; Ss to
2nd starting chain,.

Round 2: Ss into 1st chain space; Chain 2, (2 DC Ch 1, 3 DC) the same space as Ss, work (3 DC, Ch 1, 3 DC) in
each remaining ch space of the round; Ss to top of starting chain.

Round 3: *Ch 1. In the next chain space work (1 HDC, 2 DC, Chain 2, 2 DC, 1 HDC) into the space; Chain 1,
Ss into 3rd DC from hook;* Repeat from * 4 more times. The last slip stitch will end the round.

Fasten off and weave in ends. Block your star to create pointed corners.
