Gemini: Third of Three Annual Spiritual Festivals

The interlude in Gemini is also called the Festival of Unification, Christ Festival, Festival of Humanity or Goodwill. The
new impulse generated through the full moon in Aries, took root in earthy Taurus at the Wesak Festival – and is now
distributed in the sign of Gemini.

Full moon periods are monthly cycles of high spiritual potential – to

commune with the Spiritual Forces of the planet and participate in the
great celebration of souls – guiding, and being guided toward the light.

The annual World Invocation Day is always on the date of the Gemini
full moon – spanning, as with all full moon celebrations – 2½ days
before and after the exact full moon time – five days in total. Here is
the opportunity to be extra mindful and reflective, meditatively tuning
into the subtle but powerful forces pouring into the planet via the zodiac sign Gemini:

“The result of this solemn three days of invocation will be followed by a climaxing day wherein the Hierarchy will
unitedly, and led by the Christ, pronounce the entire Invocation, prefacing each stanza with its appropriate keynote,
again sounded in unison. These notes you cannot know, but if, for instance, a very large number of the New Group of
World Servers were brought together, their united OM might approximate the appropriate keynote.”1

Gemini rules communications and The Great Invocation is a potent, globally transforming mantram that can be used
every day – but especially at any full or new moon festival. As the second ray of Love-Wisdom is the only ray to pass
through Gemini, this force is invoked and disseminated – in all its various expressions – via the spoken or written word,
music (the universal language), art, acts of human kindness and even the internet.

Gemini also rules inner communications because of its association with the etheric body which is the medium of
transmission for impulses from the soul – via the mental body. Hence the quality of formlessness that Gemini
expresses, enables this sign for telepathic communication and inner work in general.

The first three festivals of the year are all connected to communication. Mercury the Messenger is the ruler of Gemini
and the soul ruler of Aries, the first festival. Taurus rules the organs of speech and the, “Taurian upon the way of
liberation would do well to employ the method of directed and motivated speech of an outgoing and explanatory
nature.”2

The Easter Aries festival celebrates The Christ, the Wesak Taurus
festival celebrates the Buddha, whilst the Gemini festival of Goodwill
celebrates The Christ again; this is because the One who currently
holds the Office of The Christ (it’s an office, a post), will soon be
taking over the role of the Buddha in the imminent Aquarian
dispensation.

This is a virtually unprecedented planetary event that coincides with

large strides in human consciousness, related to the equilibrisation of
the Moon and Earth Chain evolutions. (See the author’s Unveiling

The Last Sermon of the Buddha
“On this festival, for two thousand years, the Christ has represented humanity and has stood before the Hierarchy and
in the sight of Shamballa as the God-Man, the Leader of His people and “the Eldest in a great family of brothers”
(Romans VIII:29).

Each year at that time He has preached the last sermon of the
Buddha before the assembled Hierarchy. This will therefore be a
festival of deep invocation and appeal, of a basic aspiration
towards fellowship, of human and spiritual unity, and will
represent the effect in the human consciousness of the work of
the Buddha and of the Christ.”3

Gemini is the third of the first three major spiritual festivals for
the year, disseminating the impulse of Aries, consolidated upon
in Taurus. It is the “Festival of Unification carried forward by the
Christ, the Master of all Masters and the Teacher alike of angels
and of men.”

These three festivals set the keynote for the year. The
continuity of the link between Buddha at Taurus (Wesak) and Christ at Gemini is profound, indicating that the Christ
will take over the responsibilities of the Buddha in the not too distant future.

“It has long been a legend (and who shall say it is not a fact?), that at each Full Moon of June, Christ repeats and
preaches again to the assembled world (to the hearts and minds of men) the last sermon of the Buddha, thus linking
the full enlightenment of the pre-Christian era and the wisdom of the Buddha to the cycle of the distribution of the
energy of love, for which Christ is responsible.”4

Hence the appropriateness of the blending of the two festivals Taurus and Gemini and their dissemination in Gemini, a
sign of distribution. Here are some excerpts from the last sermon, bearing in mind that the Buddha’s Taurean message
was to point the way to liberation – through freeing the self from the desire nature, with all its cravings and
addictions:

“Herein, O Ananda, let a brother, as he dwells in the body,

so regard the body that he, being strenuous, thoughtful and mindful may,
whilst in the world, overcome the grief which arises from the body’s cravings.

… While subject to sensations let him continue so to regard the sensations

that he, being strenuous, thoughtful, and mindful, may, whilst in the world,
overcome the grief which arises from the sensations.”

And so, also, when he thinks, or reasons, or feels, let him so regard his
thought that, being strenuous, thoughtful and mindful, he may, whilst in the world,
overcome the grief which arises from the craving due to ideas, or to reasoning, or to feeling.

… Those who, either now or after I am dead, shall be a lamp unto themselves,
relying upon themselves only and not relying upon any external help, but holding
fast to the truth as their lamp, and seeking their salvation in the truth alone, shall not
look for assistance to any one besides themselves, it is they, Ananda, among my bhikshus,
who shall reach the very topmost height. But they must be anxious to learn.

My age is now full ripe, my life draws to its close:

I leave you, I depart, relying on myself alone!

Be earnest then, O brethren, holy, full of thought!

Be steadfast in resolve! Keep watch o’er your own hearts!
Who wearies not, but holds fast to his truth and law,
Shall cross this sea of life, shall make an end of grief.

When the light of gnosis has dispelled the darkness of ignorance, when all existences
has been seen as without substance, peace ensues when life draws to an end,
which seems to cure along sickness at last.

Everything, whether stationary or movable, is bound to perish in the end.

Be ye therefore mindful and vigilant!
The time for my entry in Nirvana has now arrived!
There are my last words!”

The Buddha and the Christ symbolise the two pillars

of Gemini, the sign that is a cosmic gateway for the
forces of Sirius to permeate its “lower self” – our
solar system, infusing it with a greater cosmic plan
and purpose.

Venus as esoteric ruler of Gemini provides a further

point of contact in stepping down that purpose
through relationship as the soul aspect or higher
self of Earth – which happens to be the highest or
hierarchical ruler of Gemini.

Sirius is the source of Love-Wisdom in our solar

system, emanating from the cosmic mental plane. The second ray is the only one which pours through Gemini, whose
constellation is connected to the “cosmic Christ”. Venus transmits that force of mind to Humanity, giving mental
understanding, love and compassion. Both Sirius and Venus are associated with initiation.

Gemini Ruler Mercury: The Principle of Illusion

“When Mercury, the divine Messenger, the principle of illusion and the expression of the active
higher mind, has performed his mission and “led humanity into the light” and the Christ-child
[soul] out of the womb of time and of the flesh – into the light of day and of manifestation,
then the task of that great centre we call humanity will be accomplished.

Ponder on this for the significance of esoteric astrology will

emerge more clearly in your minds if you can understand this
fourfold activity of Mercury and the inter-relation of these four
signs of the zodiac.”5

Mercury is the exoteric ruler of Gemini-Virgo, the esoteric ruler of

Aries and the hierarchical ruler of Scorpio. As ruler of Gemini, how
is Mercury the “principle of illusion”?

Gemini is a “mental” sign whose Twins are an obvious duality,

symbolising the balancing of opposites upon the mental plane. The mental plane is the realm of illusion – as opposed
to glamour upon the astral plane – and maya on the physical level.

Like silver or tin, the highly reflective metal mercury has been
used as an amalgam in the manufacture of mirrors. Mirrors
reverse an image from left to right, hence they been used for fun
and entertainment and art – such as stumbling through a mirror
maze, or the many beautiful light installations such as “infinity
mirrors” or rooms/hallways of mirrors.

Mercury’s expression through Gemini’s exoteric level of rulership,

covers all three levels of maya, glamour and illusion; particularly
as Gemini is one of the four signs of the mutable cross stage of
evolution for Humanity – still deeply immersed in illusion, through
undeveloped consciousness.

about the lower
expression of Gemini –
deception, trickery, sleight of hand, the con-man or thief etc. Because of
the fluid nature of Gemini, discrimination is not its great asset – which is
more the province of Mercury-ruled Virgo.

Hence the chameleon-like nature of Gemini, blending in with its surroundings

through the art of disguise and camouflage – another demonstration of the
“principle of illusion”. And yet, Mercury the Messenger “leads humanity into
the light”, once the “active higher mind” is developed through Mercury’s
influence at that level.

Indeed, at this stage Gemini is the truth-teller par excellence, such as Gemini podcaster Russell Brand who was
recently described by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as an “oasis of truth-telling in a desert of mis-information”! (See author’s

The Spectre of Artificial Intelligence

The explosion of artificial intelligence today demands that humanity must take great care – because here is Mercury,
the-principle-of-illusion, incarnate! With the manipulation of images, proponents make the artistic argument, “Where
does one draw the line between creativity and ill-intent?”

But when images are not obviously artificially generated, lying in an indeterminate grey zone – lack of discernment or
discrimination leads to belief in the object as reality. For example, a few recent examples on social media, show a
peacock chick with adult plumage, whilst elsewhere an old photo shows a giant horse dwarfing farm workers standing
around it. Many people fell for these fakes, or had them seriously researching; some were AI generated or good photo-
shopping – the forerunner of AI.

A good example of the latter was a

“photo” of a giant human skeleton
excavated by anthropologists, an image
that was revealed to have been generated
for a graphics art contest. People want to
believe because there is truth in the fact
that humans were giants in an earlier
evolution. But there is also an emotional
factor of identifying with something that
is out of the ordinary, beyond everyday
experience – opening the door to
gullibility.

Perhaps these hoaxes can also be educational for those who fell for the original photo and then realised later that it
was not “real”. The fine line or argument between reality and unreality – from one perspective, its all in the realm of
the unreal – of maya!

Likewise, with the written word – formidable essays, articles, plays, poems and books are being produced in four
seconds! Whilst some of the content may be very good – because it draws from the global knowledge well – what
does that mean for human ingenuity and innovation?

AI has the capacity to remove human creativity and hence the evolution of consciousness – through artificial, soul-less
machine-knowledge syntheses. How does that evoke in any student “educare” – to draw forth the knowledge that lays
within, hence education? Therefore, AI could be the “thin end of the wedge” – for the further dumbing-down of
humanity, leading to easier mass population control.

One guiding mantra might be, “use it but do not let it use you”. Easier said than done, look what has happened with
cell phones already. The natural proclivity for the masses is often passive response, through long-term tech device
immersion-addiction.

Hence the need to draw a line – for laws and

safeguards, which are already not keeping up –
as AI unleashes itself ubiquitously on innocent-
lamb humanity. Even the “Godfather of AI” has
said,

“… the burgeoning technology is a “more

urgent” risk to humanity than the effects of
climate change. Dr. Geoffrey Hinton, 75, flagged
the danger days after revealing he quit his part-
time role assisting Google’s AI development last month …

Hinton [Sun Sag, Uranus in Gemini] – joined a growing chorus of experts, including Elon Musk and Microsoft’s top
economist, who have raised alarms about threats that will arise from the unrestrained development of artificial
intelligence.

Criticism has escalated following the runaway success of ChatGPT, the chatbot developed by Microsoft-backed
OpenAI. Critics have argued that unregulated AI could fuel the spread of misinformation, cause major losses in the job
market and provide bad actors with a new tool to wreak havoc in society.

… he now partly regrets his life’s work due to the potential risks. He expressed a
fear that advanced AI will eventually grow out of the control of humans as
systems develop an ability to create and run their own computer code. He cited
the possibility of AI-powered weapon systems as just one scary possibility.”6

The CEO of OpenAI, the company that developed ChatGPT, has urged US
lawmakers to establish regulations for artificial intelligence. Sam Altman warned
that the technology “could go quite wrong,” and likened the advent of AI
programs to the invention of the printing press.

Dr. Geoffrey Hinton. The following video on AI features the WEF’s philosopher in residence, Yuval
Noah Harari – of “Humans are now hackable animals” notoriety. Nevertheless, an
interesting talk and discussion that takes the public pulse around AI
development.

WHO Declares Pandemic Over: Gemini-Pisces

On the full moon eclipse of May 5, 2023 – WHO announced that the Covid
pandemic was over. On May 1, just a few days before, the Whitehouse abolished
all vaccine requirements to enter the USA. Just like that, despite WHO’s calumny
of contradictory, confusing statements:

“Last week, COVID-19 claimed a life every three minutes – and that’s just the
deaths we know about”, said Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-
General, briefing the media at the agency’s headquarters in Geneva.”7

Yet in that same week, other data showed a 95% drop in cases/deaths. Likewise,
the bogus declaration of a global pandemic by Tedros on March 11, 2020 – was
based upon about 83 cases, out of a world population of around 8 billion!

Hence, lies piled upon lies – covering up the lies of the past three years, for which WHO and Tedros are both
astrologically inclined – their point of least resistance. The perfect man for the propaganda job! Truth-teller Dr. Vernon
Coleman says:

“I would estimate, using official government figures, that covid-19 (which

I’ve always said is the rebranded flu), killed considerably fewer than one
million people worldwide in 2020 and 2021 (with figures for the two
years combined). That is, less than 500,000 in each of those two years.

Since the WHO figures show that the ordinary un-marketed flu can kill
650,000 a year, and since there were virtually no flu deaths in 2020 and
2021, (it was reported in the mainstream media that flu had temporarily
disappeared [!]), it is clear that covid-19 was rather LESS deadly than a
fairly unexceptional flu.

I have already produced evidence showing that according to the UK Government’s own figures, covid-19 was no worse
than the flu in the UK. And mortality figures show that death rates in 2020 were no worse than usual.”8

Yet deaths and injuries statistics from vaccines has fuelled troubling excessive

Much of the WHO/Tedros deception (as marionettes for their invisible puppet
masters), was astrologically pinpointed in several articles – 2020 to 2022: WHO’s
Deception Game and Horoscope, WHO Pandemic Declaration Horoscope, WHO
Horoscope: Pisces Moon. The main astrological “culprits” are WHO’s Moon-Mercury
in Pisces and Tedros’ astonishing six-planet stellium in Pisces! The two fishes of Pisces, in its lower expression of
Neptunian deception – is similar to dualistic Gemini, both signs of the mutable cross. The following passage from one
of these articles sums up the situation:

“[WHO’s] Moon is in Pisces, usually expressing empathy and loving understanding. But its conjunction to Mercury in
Pisces, can be subject to manipulation by others – or be outright deceptive … This inherently deceptive and confusing
Pisces moon, is further compromised by its T-square to Jupiter (exaggeration) and Uranus (scientific justification).

Transiting Neptune will continue to conjoin the Pisces Moon right through to January
2023, so we might expect more obfuscation, contradiction, deception and outright
lies. … Another interesting “deception factor” is the fact that WHO’s progressed sun
is in Gemini – in its lower aspect, notorious for telling stories, lies and deviousness.
Furthermore, Gemini ruler Mercury in Pisces has been squared by WHO’s progressed
sun …

… At the solar eclipse of April 30, [2022] transiting Neptune was closely conjunct
WHO’s Pisces moon – where it has been conjunct on and off since March 2021. The
moon is the unconscious, the dweller – and this Neptune transit will be exact again in
Sept/Oct 2022 making a station on the Moon all the way through to Feb. 2023.
Which unfortunately means that the capacity for ongoing, even greater deceptions,
is likely to continue.

WHO’s natal moon in Pisces is curiously square to Uranus – the planet of science,
hence … it is highly likely that Uranus is “veiled”. Given WHO’s domination by modern science and allopathic medical
techniques, this is certainly a good combination for blending the visionary nature of Neptune with the scientific
qualities of Uranus.

But WHO can also fall back on the attitude of, “lets blind them with science” or use the “authority of science” to
dictate erroneous medical policy to WHO’s 193 member nations; particularly as Uranus is in “tricky” Gemini, along with
the progressed Sun in Gemini.”9

Gemini’s and Pisces, don’t take this personally – or maybe you

should! We all have the capacity to express the lower and higher,
hence if regarding oneself as “On the Path”, it is our duty to
recognise glamours and illusions – “the weeds” to be rooted out.

So WHO struggles onward, trying to maintain its faux authority,

insisting upon a fearful mantra of the “next disease” – or how so-
called climate change will be its main policy soon. On May 23, Dr
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told the World Health Assembly
that the threat of another [engineered] public health crisis was
ever present – and a “doomsday Covid variant” could send the
world “back to square one”.10

Would Humanity fall for another “cry wolf” – or will it, as the other
WHO have sung – “won’t get fooled again”? Since the transit of
Neptune conjunct WHO’s moon in Pisces finished, Neptune
conjoined Mercury in Pisces at WHO’s May 5, 2023 declaration.
This transit was also discussed in 2022:

“After the Pisces moon transit, transiting Neptune moves on to conjoin natal Mercury in Pisces in May-Aug 2023, Feb-
Mar 2024 and Oct 2024- Jan 2025! Hence, WHO’s natal Mercury square Jupiter penchant for exaggeration and
deception, will be even more pronounced, but this time with the possibility of WHO’s machinations becoming so
confused – that mis-management and chaos ensue – described by the old adage, “What a tangled web we weave,
once we practice to deceive”. (Sir Walter Scott)11

Additionally, as noted many times, USA’s progressed Sun and Moon are in Pisces, creating some mass gullibility and
susceptibility to deception.

WHO: Effect of May 5 Eclipse

That “internal mis-management and chaos” may equally be inflicted upon the public of course. Added to the Mercury-
in-Pisces activation mentioned above, is the May 5 eclipse position of transiting Venus in “slippery” Gemini, exactly
square Mercury in Pisces.

Some worst case scenarios have been compounded by the May 5 eclipse that fell in the same degree as WHO’s
Moon’s north-south nodes in Taurus-Scorpio, setting off a T-square to natal Saturn and solar-directed Venus in Leo.

This Saturn-nodes T-square reflects the dictatorial nature of WHO – Taurus and Leo are both notorious for ruthless
rulership. The Taurus north node also speaks to the acquisition of “scientific knowledge” and the old “blind ‘em with
science” mantra, which is essentially scientism – evangelical science. WHO’s Saturn in Leo trines the Sun in Aries –

placed in the elevated 10 house of public and career, further consolidating its position of authority and power.

Saturn in Leo is capable of tyranny and the assumption of an unassailable authority,

attempting a strict and rigid control. Hitler had Saturn in Leo. This has been amply
demonstrated in the past three years – by which it seeks to build upon in the near
future. The CIA also has Saturn in Leo on the midheaven, close to the same degree
as WHO’s Saturn. The CIA – “a government within a government”, that JFK tried to
dismantle and paid the ultimate price. (See also The Maya of World Media and the
CIA.)

Some synastry with WHO’s Saturn in Leo position is uncanny – being the position of
other WHO collaborators/conspirators such as the CDC (USA’s Centre for Disease
Control). CDC’s Moon-Venus in Leo conjunct WHO’s Saturn/prog.Venus in Leo. Such
synastry provides a consolidating network that reinforces the messaging and
propaganda that has been imposed thus far.

It is said that the resolution of the T-square is found in the point opposite the T-square apex, which in this case falls in
Aquarius, the sign of group co-operation – that WHO expresses with its many thousands of employees – along one
particular ideological stream.

The corporate nature of WHO, with its major funders such as Bill Gates and its
cozy relationship with Big Pharma, emulates the predatory corporations that
are the shadow of the Aquarian Age. Other scandals emerge as WHO tries to
implement multiple agendas – now receiving major pushback to its
controversial Standards For Sexuality Education in Europe:

“Children under four encouraged in the enjoyment and pleasure when touching
one’s own body, early childhood masturbation.” Campaign groups that are
concerned about the sexualisation of very young children, want it banned for
fear of influencing official sex education policy.” ((DailyMail.co.uk)) Praying he can hold onto power: Dr.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus –
Aquarius ruler Uranus was part of the May 5 eclipse tension, conjunct the Sun WHO’s liar in chief, accused of war
in Taurus, representing radical departures from the orthodox, from both the crimes in Ethiopia.
altruistic and selfish angles. In WHO’s horoscope, transiting Uranus is precisely
square to Mars in Leo, which sits not far from natal Saturn.

Mars in Leo has a reputation for self-centered wilful behaviour, and rules the Aries
midheaven, hence another factor that indicates unpredictable behaviour from WHO.
In other words, the reputation of Uranus as the altruistic radical revolutionary can
just as easily be misused with sudden, out-of-left-field manoeuvres – in a bid to
consolidate power at any cost.

A good example lies in Hitler’s horoscope – when he was consolidating his power in
Europe 1934-5, taking the title of Führer; transiting Uranus was passing back and
forth across his Taurus sun. There was his selfish, ideologically imbalanced
“revolution” that led to WWII. Hence, given the astrological indicators above, the following proposals by WHO give
cause for serious concern.

WHO’s Proposed Pandemic Treaty

The WHO has a target date of May 2024 for a legally binding agreement to be adopted by the UN health agency’s
194 member countries. For those who think that WHO’s ambitions have subsided, there is the possibility of greater
danger from this “wounded beast”, desperate to push through new regulations for greater control:

“WHO aims to implement changes to the IHR through confidential negotiations by the largely anonymous “Working
Group on Amendments to the International Health Regulations.” The IHR amendments would grant the WHO Director-
General the authority to control which countermeasures the world would be allowed to utilize during a pandemic.

Among the proposed changes are the transfer of public health

emergency powers from our elected leaders to the WHO, as well as
the authority to declare an emergency at will and the removal of
human rights protections that have always been included in the IHR.

Giving the WHO these powers will inevitably result in more

emergency declarations and a reoccurrence of the many failures
witnessed during the WHO’s management of COVID-19.” (Robert F.
Kennedy Jr., 2024 presidential candidate.)

Now that there is an avalanche of evidence exposing the last three

years of lies, plus overwhelming statistics of injuries and deaths from
Covid vaccines – WHO and complicit groups in medicine, pharma and
governments – know that “the jig is up”.

With the benefit of hindsight, millions have now seen through the grand charade of blatant exploitation. Now there is a
growing groundswell of law suits that will probably play out for another decade. Prominent figures that fueled the
propaganda machine are now like the rats jumping off the proverbial sinking ship. Rachel Walensky, CDC director and
Big Pharma shill, happily advocated vaccines for babies. (See Walensky’s Resignation Came Days After Incriminating
Report Emerged.) The infamous, recently-resigned Anthony Fauci – saw the writing on the wall a few months ago,
especially after being thoroughly exposed by RFK Jr’s book during 2022.

But now, WHO’s agenda of control will be around “climate change” –

 using the same sort of control tactics as the Covid-19 “pandemic”.
USA – dictated to by WHO, has now made bogus climate change the
central hub of their foreign policy and national security:

“The scientific community has made clear that the scale and speed of
necessary action is greater than previously believed. There is little
time left to avoid setting the world on a dangerous, potentially
catastrophic, climate trajectory.”12

More fear tactics to bring about greater control. Opponents say “the
Biden administration’s proposed amendments to the World Health Organization’s regulations amount to ceding
substantial power to the U.N. agency’s director-general, allowing him to unilaterally declare a health emergency in the
United States.”

In other words, democratic decisions of sovereign nations will be

over-ridden by one group (WHO) – for the entire planet. 47 out of
194 nations have so far signed up – it is urgent that the other
nations inform themselves of the consequences of buying into this
plan.

This is where the people must inform themselves of these facts and
raise their voices, otherwise we will find all of our freedoms lost. And

Venus in Cancer (May 7 to June 5, 2023)

On May 7, 2023, Venus entered Cancer on its annual pilgrimage – staying there until June
5. The exoteric interpretations for Venus in Cancer are well known – home comforts and
artistic decoration, cooking, devotion and loyalty to loved ones and family, emotional
sensitivity etc. Mother’s Day is also celebrated in 2023 during this period.

Esoterically, the Fifth Ray of Science or Knowledge is

ruled by Venus which is transiting through Cancer – a
sign that has mentally oriented rays passing through it: The Third Ray of Active
Intelligence and the Seventh Ray of Ceremonial Magic or Organisation.

Yet these “mental” rays are distributed by the rulers of Cancer, the Moon and
Neptune, rulers of the “love-wisdom” rays – the Fourth ray of Harmony through
Conflict and the Sixth ray of Devotion-Idealism. Here is a blended synthesis of love
and mind, inextricably entwined in the human evolutionary process.

It can be seen how the esoteric rulerships and connections with the rays, shed more
light on zodiac sign meanings. For instance, Neptune as esoteric ruler of Cancer and
the Sixth ray, enhances the loving devotion theme of Venus in Cancer.

Cancer the Crab represents the salty matrix/mother/mer – from where all life was birthed, hence its reputation as
Mother Earth. Venus is depicted in myth – birthed in the ocean from the blood of Uranus’s severed testicles (now
there’s another story!), or in art – adored by the angels in Botticelli’s shell.

The Birth of Venus (Botticelli)

Cancer is the container, whether it is the “cat in the box” or, given the rays that pass through it – the container of
mind:

“The power of Venus in this sign [Cancer] tends to make the mind the servant
of the personality and this is aided by the forces of the third Ray of Active
Intelligence. Thus the stage is set for the appearance of the soul in form. You
would find it an interesting study to compare the effects of these ray potencies
as they find expression in Cancer upon:

1. The unevolved man as he demonstrates form control.

2. The evolved man, initiate and Saviour as he demonstrates soul control. The
forces which controlled the soul whilst dominated by form become the
instruments of world service.”13
Cancer: A safe container.
Like all the signs, planets and rays – there are lower and higher expressions
depending upon the stage of soul unfoldment. At a fundamental level, Cancer is
a sign of instinctual awareness and survival, the scavenging Crab on the sea floor – ruled over by the god of the
waters, Neptune.

At a more evolved level, “scavenger” becomes the

redeeming “Saviour” – or Neptune, the esoteric name
for The Christ in the West, also referred to as the
“great redeemer”. Scavenging and redemption both
have similar meanings.

Esoterically, the zodiac signs tell the story of

humanity’s unfolding consciousness, from the time of
mental Individualisation in ancient Lemuria, when
Cancer and Venus were both prominent in the
planetary horoscope.

Individualisation occurred over a 5,000 year period of

planetary electrification, where the “spark of mind”
Cancer meets Pisces! was imparted to then “animal humanity” – resulting in
“individual self-consciousness” – symbolised by Eve
eating the apple from the tree of knowledge.

“Cancer is the sign of instinctual life, and that in Leo the intellect or mind became part of the individual man’s
equipment. This intellectual awareness is the result of a slow evolution of the instinctual nature [Cancer] which, when
it has reached a certain stage of development, came under the direct influence of the Hierarchy of the planet in a new
way, and then—under the stimulation of energies from the planet Venus—a fusion took place which resulted in the
emergence of individual self-conscious man.”14

Venus and Cancer are also both connected to the Cosmic Mother – the Pleiades
constellation that embodies the third or “mother aspect” of the cosmic triangle:
Great Bear, Sirius, Pleiades – through which the seven rays pass into this solar
system, conditioning all kingdoms on planet Earth. When considering this triangle
of constellations, the following is noted about the relationship between the
Pleiades, Cancer and Venus:

“The energies coming from the Pleiades, an aggregation of seven energies, are
connected with the active intelligent aspect of logoic expression, and influence
the form side of all manifestation. They focus primarily through Humanity…

… affecting powerfully our entire solar system … a special and peculiar relation

one of the zodiacal signs and one of the sacred planets within our solar system.

The Pleiades . . . Cancer . . . Venus . . . Humanity.”15

Jupiter in Taurus, New Moon and Alcyone (May 2023 to

May 2024)
Mighty and magnanimous Jupiter entered Taurus on May 16 –
the sign of values, money, acquisition and resources – typically
manifesting as material abundance. Yet the downside can be
greed, financial over-reach, gluttony, love of luxury or over-
indulgence in pleasures.

Hence one lesson of Jupiter in Taurus is right stewardship,

generosity and discrimination around money and resources –
developing an understanding of values.

The earthy nature of Taurus lends itself to patience and

persistence, stability and being grounded. Getting in touch with
nature and its rhythms, its joyous song and astonishing beauty –
revealed by Taurus ruler Venus.

Jupiter will be in Taurus until May 2024, but just before in April,
it makes an important conjunction to Uranus in Taurus – amplifying the latter’s theme of the transformation of the
planetary financial system – for better or worse, through altruistic or selfish motive.

Esoterically, Jupiter rules the second ray of Love-Wisdom, the primary ray of our solar system – from which the six
other rays are sub-tones or emanations. Taurus is noted for Buddha’s “wisdom aspect” (Christ the “love aspect”),
hence the opportunity for the “getting of wisdom”, to “wise-up” – for humanity to acquire a greater degree of
wisdom.

The experiences of the last few years for many – “ruminating” in retrospect and “chewing the cud” (to use some
bovine terms), may yield a wiser, more intuitive perspective. Wisdom = buddhi = intuition – beyond the mind, direct
knowledge. (This might be assisted by the recent new moon in Taurus conjunction to Alcyone, the “star of
intelligence”, more on that later.)

The wisdom of Taurus is gleaned from its insatiable appetite for

knowledge – which applied in the crucible of everyday life, yields wisdom.
Taurus esoteric ruler Vulcan is at work here, hammering at his forge,
fashioning in the furnace the raw materials of knowledge.

Taurus exoteric ruler Venus, rules the fifth ray of knowledge, hence her
mythical marriage to Vulcan in creating beautiful forms. Vulcan’s work is
hidden by the moon’s exaltation in Taurus – meaning that,

“… the form side of life is a powerfully controlling factor and one with
which the man must ever reckon. The Moon is the Mother of the form and
in this case veils or hides Vulcan—which might be expected. The Moon,
therefore, stands here for the fashioner or moulder of the form, bringing
in both the feminine and masculine aspects of form-building, the dual
functions of Father-Mother.”16 Hephaestos or Vulcan, hammering a
sword on the forge.
This can result in the creation of a form of great potency driven by self
interest, reflecting Moon-Taurus activity. But, with Vulcan-Taurus activity
in an awakening Taurean,

“… the form nature is fashioned anew and motivated in a different manner … is “raised up into Heaven” and thus
irradiated and glorified.”17

Taurus New Moon and Alcyone

A few days after Jupiter’s entry into early Taurus (May 16), the new moon fell in
late Taurus (May 19), conjunct the fixed star Alcyone – “the star of intelligence”
and “star of the individual – governing humanity”.

Alcyone is, “the central point around which our universe of fixed stars revolves” –
and our solar system has Alcyone as the centre of its orbit. Alcyone is in The
Pleiades constellation, regarded as the “cosmic mother”, the “seven wives of the
seven rishis” – in the Great Bear constellation. Hence The Pleiades are intimately
related to the moon’s exaltation in Taurus.

As stated earlier, Taurus is related to the acquisition of knowledge, complementing why Alcyone is
regarded as “the star of intelligence” and “governing humanity”:

“The energies coming from Alcyone impregnated the substance of the universe with the quality of
mind. As a consequence of this most ancient activity, the same force was present at the time of
individualisation in this solar system, for it is in this system, and primarily upon our planet, the
Earth, that the major results of that early activity have made themselves felt.”18

Mars in Leo (May 20 to July 10)

When the planet of passion meets a passionate fire sign like Leo, there is
certainly a recipe for fireworks – not necessarily as pretty lights in the sky! In
Esoteric Astrology, Mars rules the solar plexus centre, seat of the astral
body.

The transit of the God of War through the previous emotionally sensitive sign
of Cancer was challenging, stirring up very deep feelings and attachments.
Cancer is the place of Mars’ “fall” and can be characterised by angry
frustration, intense moodiness, passive-aggressive, domestic disputes,
devotion to loved ones etc.

Mars is regarded as a “non-sacred” planet and therefore its transit in any sign highlights the unresolved dualities that
everyone harbours.

In Leo, Mars tends to be forceful and aggressive, highly egotistical, competitive, energetic and creative; it gives
leadership, courage and confidence as well as strong sexual urges, jealousy, possessiveness, argumentation and a
forceful, dominating lower ego. Mars in Leo can be the drama queen par excellence, placed firmly at the centre of its
“puniverse”.

Many of these descriptions are indicative of Mars’ dominance of the solar plexus centre,
the home of the “animal brain” and kama-manas or “desire-mind”. Emotional
attachments to ways of thinking may be revealed during this Mars transit through Leo.
For those cultivating awareness and consciousness in their lives, beware the tendency
for obsessiveness, to fall in thrall of the “beast of personality”, to “pump oneself up”
during this period.

The key is vigilance and the cultivation of the Aquarian polarity, where lies a sense of
greater needs beyond the little self – the tendency for a me-first, sense of entitlement
is accentuated with Mars in this position. So beware of Mars-ruled activities like driving –
and what unfolds in the mundane places like the local supermarket – the Wholefoods parking lot!

The evolutionary journey demands that we shift from polarisation in the lower centres and function in the higher
centres; from the blinded personality to the illumined soul – enabling individual soul purpose to function through an
integrated personality.

Mars creates an acute awareness of what is unresolved within the three-fold

personality, particularly in the biggest battleground for most – the astral body. Mars
transiting through Leo offers an opportunity because the transfer of energy involves
the solar plexus (Mars) to the heart (Leo). From fear to love, the conditional to the
unconditional, self-centredness to selflessness – Leo to Aquarius.

The point of least resistance for most of humanity is oriented in the solar plexus –
the status quo, the known, abode of the lower mind, impatience, reactivity,
selfishness – not the clarity of higher thought or the patience of a loving heart.

One visualisation tool is to see the smoke of angst, rage and conflict within the solar
plexus – rising up to meet the purifying fires of the heart’s chalice – activating
courage and compassion of Leo the Lionheart.

Resist the temptation to react or to force situations and defend the little ego; give pause for reflection and use the
devotional forces of warrior Mars on behalf of the Higher Self. During this period transiting Mars will pass over the two
pointer stars – Dubhe (nearest the pole star, Polaris) and Merak:

“The Pointer nearest to the Pole Star is expressive of a lower

aspect of the will, which—in speaking of humanity—we call self-
will … this Pointer and the energy emanating from it guides
humanity upon the involutionary path, and is constantly active in
its influence upon the man who is still upon the Mutable
Cross.”19

Hence, when Mars passes over Dubhe (15 Leo 29) on June 16, it
will be particularly stimulating of “self-will”, creating a greater
awareness of that which lies unredeemed within any entity – an
individual, group or nation. Later (June 22), Mars passes over
Merak (19 Leo 10) – furthest from the pole star:

“The Pointer furthest from the Pole Star in the constellation of

the Great Bear. This is, esoterically speaking, a great reservoir or
focal point for divine energy, carrying out God’s purpose …

… Then the energy of the Pointer furthest from the Pole Star begins to make its presence felt and a sense of right
direction or guidance is registered by the disciple upon the Path, and such guidance (when followed) leads man nearer
to the Hierarchy.”20

Venus in Leo: Invoking Sirius and Liberation (June 5 to Oct.9, 2023)

Venus in Leo is a very magnetic and charismatic position that this author
sometimes refers to as the “movie star” – e.g. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, or
Greta Garbo and Selma Hayek. The radiance of Sun-ruled Leo is a great
complement to Venus, the most sparkling of visible planets.

Esoterically, Venus in Leo links to the mighty star Sirius, the brightest star in the
night sky. Venus is regarded as the “higher self” or “alter ego” to Earth and is one
of the planets that transmits energies from Sirius – a star that is the “higher self”
to this solar system as a whole.
Greta Garbo

Venus rules the Fifth Ray of Knowledge and Science, one of the two rays that find
expression through Leo, the fifth sign. The number 5 is that of manas or mind and Sirius finds one of its strongest
expressions through Leo:

“Later, when the new world religion is founded and is working, we shall
find that the major, monthly festival in August, held at the time of the
full moon, will be dedicated to the task of making contact, via the
Hierarchy, with Sirian force … Sirius governs Leo.”21

Hence, due to Venus going retrograde and direct between June 5 and
Oct.9, its passage through Leo spans the August-Leo festival, offering
opportunity for intentional alignment with the forces of Sirius.

Although the “influence of Sirius is not consciously felt until after the
third initiation”,22, its energy as a guiding force for many can be invoked in group meditation. This is because the
Path to Sirius will be the major one that souls on Earth will take, once they have achieved Liberation.

As the fifth and first rays pass through Leo – there is Leo’s great power as a
ruler, benign sovereign of its domain – expressing the two inextricably
entwined paths of love and mind, heart and head. The fixed star Regulus will
also be invoked when Venus turns retrograde at 28° Leo 36’ (July 24 and
Oct.7-9):

“The influences of Sirius, three in number, are focussed in Regulus, which is,
as you know, a star of the first magnitude and which is frequently called
“the heart of the Lion.”23

Similar to the aforementioned Mars transit through Leo, transiting Venus in

Leo will also bring an extended triple activation to the Pointer stars: Dubhe
(June 23-24, Aug.22-3, Sept.16-17) – and Merak (June 28-9, Aug.14-16, Sept.23-5).

Venus is also known as the planet of love and relationships, through its skill at reconciling opposites and the creation
of harmony and beauty upon the mental plane, filtering down eventually to the astral plane – where “love” and sex are
experienced for Humanity as a whole.

Both Sirius and Venus were responsible for the awakening of consciousness in
the hitherto “animal humanity” in ancient Lemuria, 21.6 million years ago.

“The sun “Sirius” is the source of logoic manas … and Venus was responsible
for the coming in of mind in the Earth chain. Each was primary to the other, or
was the agent which produced the first flicker of consciousness in the
particular [soul] groups involved.”24

Sirian “cosmic manas” or mind, reaches this solar system as Love-Wisdom –

we inhabit a “second ray” (love-wisdom) system – in this particular cycle.

Hence, during these four months (June to Oct.), transiting Venus in Leo has the capacity to unify the love/mind
principles – “thinking in the heart”; the potential to invoke realisation of the Sirian principles of freedom and liberation.

USA’s Gemini Personality, Britain’s Gemini Soul

Much has been written by this author about these two leading nations of the
Western world – Britain and the USA. Britain, “mother” of the USA, retaining its
Gemini soul connection to USA’s Gemini personality.

Whereas Britain once “ruled over” USA before 1776, currently USA rules over
Britain – calling the shots on international policy. This is a real problem because
Britain, due to various corporate influences – has lost its soul direction, whilst the
USA’s unintegrated and unpredictable Gemini personality, is creating havoc
internationally – in its futile attempt to control the world.

Hence, the “special relationship” that is mentioned by politicians regularly between the two nations -this is their
Gemini synastry. But it is not an healthy synastry, more often than not invoking the lower aspect of Gemini through
scheming and lies.

This is especially noticeable in the last few years of incessant pandemic

propaganda and anti-Russian sentiment. An oft-quoted passage here is a
worthy reminder for Gemini in any individual, city or nation:

“It is the Gemini influence which has produced — viewing the work of the
nation from the personality or lower angle — the secret and oft devious
diplomacy and subtlety which has in the past distinguished Great Britain’s
political activity.

Gemini people are often distrusted, and the Gemini effect along this line makes of Great Britain no exception. Such
distrust has been warranted in the past but is not as justifiable now, for the nation is old and experienced and is fast
learning the lessons which she has had to master.”25

Written almost a century ago, it appears that some regression in Britain

has undermined its’ “fast learning the lessons” of a WWII nation. The
passage above discusses the lower expression of the nation’s soul
zodiac sign, hence, imagine how an unintegrated Gemini personality

Britain’s soul sign is Gemini and in the context of the five planetary
centres, Gemini rules its capital, London26 – enhancing the tendency
for “secret and devious” dodgy dealings!

The City of London’s “square mile” in the Nowhere is this more apparent in “the square mile” at the heart of
hub of the financial district. London, called the City of London, a territory unto itself – the centre of
trading and financial services, with its own hierarchy that essentially
dictates to parliamentary law makers; its business and financial
shenanigans are jaw-dropping, as outlined in the following award-winning documentary.

This “must see” film is an astonishing revelation of what has been living in plain sight for some centuries, embodying a
major head of the planetary hydra that Hercules Humanity must slay.

USA’s international decisions, backed by Britain and other nations, are of great concern. Especially their most recent
commitment to further funding: Arming and supplying Ukraine with F-16 fighter jets, training and other military
hardware – yet another red rag waved flagrantly at the Moscow bull – a Taurus soul.27

These are the actions of an irresponsible teenager with an arrogant ego and grandiose schemes, recruiting other
schoolyard bullies to “gang up” on Russia. (The author must restate that he is not a “Russian apologist”.) There
appears to be no long term thinking as to consequences of these nations’ actions – or how Vladimir Putin might
respond.

Therefore, it is somewhat ironic that latest funding

The G7 nation leaders – there might be a few Napoleon decisions were announced on the Taurus new moon
complexes here! (May 19) at the recent G7 summit in Hiroshima –
the first military target of a nuclear weapon in
modern human history, on August 6, 1945.

“Russia’s foreign minister, Sergei Lavrov, accused the G7 of trying to isolate Russia and China. “The task has been set
loudly and openly: to defeat Russia on the battlefield, but not to stop there, but to eliminate it as a geopolitical
competitor.”28

Both the USA and Britain appear to have forgotten the compassion of their second ray Love-Wisdom souls – the only
ray to pass through Gemini. Through funnelling money into armaments and other neocon-driven foreign projects, both
nations have deprived their own inhabitants of basic needs – accommodation, power, reasonably priced food and fuel –
to list a few.

Presidential candidates for the 2024 election have proposed wise and practical solutions for the USA: Close most
international military bases and diminish the military industrial complex, end the corrupt merger of state and corporate
power, dismantle the ubiquitous CIA and billion$ wasted in foreign meddling, end the stranglehold of big media and big
pharma – or big pharma over big media etc …….

This huge restructuring plan is the only way that USA can restore
its soul path, channelling saved funds into rebuilding the nation’s
crumbling infrastructure, hence raising employment prospects;
focussing on widely extant mental health issues and high rates of
suicide; rehabilitation of millions of homeless and destitute – in
the world’s “richest country”.

Dealing with multiple toxic environmental issues; tackling

widespread addiction to prescription or illegal drugs; solving the
firearms problem of individual – and now commonplace mass
murders; transforming the police force and jail system etc. etc. It has been said that delinquent USA needs to
surrender itself to “juvey” (juvenile detention) and enter into some serious rehab! Gemini is a sign of childlike naivete,
an endearing quality – but which can hinder maturation:

“Like all young people, symbolically speaking, the people of the United States show all the characteristics of
adolescence. Again, symbolically speaking, the people of the United States are of the ages seventeen to twenty four.
They shout freedom and still are not free; they refuse to be told what to do because it infringes upon their rights,
nevertheless they allow themselves to be guided frequently by the inept, the partisan politician and by the
inadequate; they are broadly tolerant and yet most intolerant of other nations; they are ready to tell other nations
how to handle their problems but as yet evidence no ability to handle their own …[Written 1946-9]”.29

The situation has not changed much in the past several decades,
however, there are some “adults in the room” – as reflected by a
recent letter to the New York Times, signed by fifteen high level
US national security officials (including Jeffrey Sachs) – stating
in part,

“The Russia-Ukraine War has been an unmitigated disaster.

Hundreds of thousands have been killed or wounded. Millions
have been displaced. Environmental and economic destruction
have been incalculable. Future devastation could be
exponentially greater as nuclear powers creep ever closer toward open war.

… As Americans and national security experts, we urge President Biden and Congress to use their full power to end
the Russia-Ukraine War speedily through diplomacy, especially given the grave dangers of military escalation that could
spiral out of control.

Sixty years ago, President John F. Kennedy made an observation that is crucial for our survival today. “Above all, while
defending our own vital interests, nuclear powers must avert those confrontations which bring an adversary to a
choice of either a humiliating retreat or a nuclear war. To adopt that kind of course in the nuclear age would be
evidence only of the bankruptcy of our policy – or of a collective death-wish for the world.”

The immediate cause of this disastrous war in Ukraine is Russia’s

invasion. Yet the plans and actions to expand NATO to Russia’s
borders served to provoke Russian fears. And Russian leaders made
this point for 30 years. A failure of diplomacy led to war. Now
diplomacy is urgently needed to end the Russia-Ukraine War before
it destroys Ukraine and endangers humanity.

… We consider President Biden’s promise to back Ukraine “as long

as it takes” to be a license to pursue ill-defined and ultimately
unachievable goals … We advocate for a meaningful and genuine
commitment to diplomacy, specifically an immediate ceasefire and negotiations without any disqualifying or prohibitive
preconditions. Deliberate provocations delivered the Russia-Ukraine War. In the same manner, deliberate diplomacy can

USA’s transformation will take decades to accomplish, but with right leadership it could happen more swiftly. By the
criteria given in this author’s USA’s Gemini Personality Maturation, the “matured adult” will emerge around 2040 after
the end of its symbolic Saturn return – only a short space of 17 years, hence some hard labour ahead!!

Note in the table below, the 84-year Uranus cycles at the important dates of the Civil War and WWII. Uranus is the
ruler of Aquarius – the nation’s soul sign. Note also in the table, the “soul expression” date of 2,056 is closer to the
astronomical ingress of Sun into Aquarius in 2,117.

USA’s Gemini Personality Maturation

USA’s dharma is to lead Humanity into the Aquarian 2,160-year cycle

– alongside fellow Aquarian soul, but current adversary – Russia!
Gemini Britain of course, plays a potential harmonising role with these
two nations in their triangle relationship.

Gemini Bob Dylan: Songwriter and Musician

Bob Dylan is the archetypal troubador – like the lyric poets and musicians of
old Europe, reflecting his multi-talented and adaptable Gemini nature. Dylan
has shaped Western culture through his inspired song-writing and music –
incorporating a range of political, social, philosophical and literary influences.

Dylan has the Sun in Gemini, along with both the exoteric and esoteric rulers
of this sign – Mercury and Venus. With Mercury ruling, Gemini is often the
writer, disseminating through the written and spoken word: “Hailed as the
Shakespeare of his generation, Dylan … set the standard for lyric writing.” 30

Furthermore, the Gemini sun occupies the sixth house area of life experience
(healing, service), which takes its meaning from the sixth sign Virgo – a sign
often referred to as the “wordsmith”. Word-smith implies the smithy working at his anvil – Vulcan, always in close
orbit to the Sun and most likely in Gemini. (Denoted by the symbol for Vulcan in this horoscope as the down-pointing
arrow.)

Bob Dylan

No doubt Dylan spent many hours hammering out his songs, blending melody and lyrics
– as he comments: “It’s about craftsmanship, perspective, lyrical meter, simple
melodies, having something to say and a “pure-hearted motivation” for writing.”31 (See

Dylan’s Gemini planets allowed him great versatility, learning to play 18 instruments and
“blending melody and lyrics”, synthesising many strands of popular culture, musical and
singing styles:

“Drawing on folk, blues, country, R&B, rock’n’roll, gospel, British beat, symbolist,
modernist and Beat poetry, surrealism and Dada, advertising jargon and social
commentary, Fellini and Mad magazine, he forged a coherent and original artistic voice
and vision. The beauty of these albums retains the power to shock and console.”32

Vulcan is also the esoteric ruler of Taurus where Dylan has four planets, most notably
Jupiter in the last degree, conjunct the fixed star Alcyone in the Pleiades – the “star of the individual” or “star of
intelligence”.

Jupiter is the ruler of Dylan’s philosophical Sagittarian ascendant – his soul purpose. Hence, Jupiter’s position in late
Taurus conjunct his Gemini sun, is a powerful link between soul and personality. Taurus precedes the more well-known
sign of communication, Gemini – yet as mentioned earlier,

“The Taurian upon the way of liberation would do well to employ the method of directed and motivated speech of an
outgoing and explanatory nature in order to transform himself from one who goes wilfully on his personality way into a
wise cooperator with the Plan.”33

As Taurus rules the organs of speech (throat, larnyx etc.), Dylan has fulfilled “directed and motivated speech” through
the spoken (sung) word – and the art of story-telling. Taurus most likely contributes to Dylan’s instantly recognised
and unique voice, which David Bowie once described as “a voice like sand and glue”. Perhaps his Moon-Uranus
conjunction in Taurus also contributes to this trait!

Story-telling is the province of the Fourth Ray of Harmony through

Conflict (a.k.a. the ray of Art and Beauty), the only ray to pass
through Taurus and most likely part of Dylan’s ray structure. Hence
this old soul won the lottery acquiring this horoscope!

Dylan was born Jewish (Robert Allen Zimmerman), hailing from Russian-
Lithuanian ancestry. The fourth ray is very strong in the Jewish people
– a ray that is,

“… pre-eminently the way of the seeker, the searcher and the

sensitive reflector of beauty. [The Jews] have a close relation to this
fourth ray and … hence their eminence at this time in the world of art,
A symbol of the fourth ray.
and hence the magnitude of their endless symbolic wandering and
searching … [they] have run the gamut of suffering and are in the
forefront of the creative arts at this time.”34

Returning to examine Mercury in Gemini – the messenger and minstrel, astrologically “angular” – opposite Dylan’s
Sagittarius ascendant, playing a major role in his song-writing. Fourth ray ruler Mercury is in a T-square to Neptune in
Virgo.

Neptune – the planet of imagination, inspiration and intuition – also the

most elevated planet in the horoscope, in the Sagittarian, Mercury-
ruled ninth house of philosophy, religion, higher education and arts.
Again there is the Virgo wordsmith signature, complementing Dylan’s
sixth house Sun in Gemini – both signs ruled by Mercury.

Mercury square Neptune represents Dylan as an musical amanuensis, or

channel for inspiration from on high – his soul or other sources. In a 60
Minutes interview (2004) Dylan said,

“I do not know how I got to write those songs, its almost if they were
Dylan comments on Little Richard’s
passing: “He was my shining star and magically written … It’s a different kind of penetrating magic.”

boy. His was the original spirit that moved Some of what Dylan said in that interview was widely misinterpreted as
me to do everything I would do.” “making a deal with the devil”, when in fact it was a “deal with destiny
… holding up his end of the bargain … I made a bargain with the chief
commander … on this Earth and the world we cannot see.”

Dylan formed bands in high school, doing covers of Elvis Presley and Little Richard (Gemini the imitator). Little Richard
had Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in Sagittarius, no doubt stimulating Dylan’s Sag ascendant. (Recently passed Tina Turner
had Sun, Mercury and Venus in Sag!) But Dylan moved into folk music, answering the deeper call of Sagittarius rising:

“The thing about rock’n’roll is that for me anyway it wasn’t enough … There were
great catch-phrases and driving pulse rhythms … but the songs weren’t serious or
didn’t reflect life in a realistic way. I knew that when I got into folk music, it was
more of a serious type of thing. The songs are filled with more despair, more
sadness, more triumph, more faith in the supernatural, much deeper feelings.”35

The importance of Venus in Gemini is Dylan’s ability to connect with many people
from various walks of life, “the common touch” – lyrically and in person. During
Dylan’s prodigious songwriting of albums produced from 1962 to 1966, natal
Venus was activated powerfully by transit: The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan (“Blowin’ in
the Wind”,”A Hard Rain’s a-Gonna Fall”), The Times They Are a-Changin’, Another
Side of Bob Dylan, Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited and Blonde on
Blonde.

During that period, transiting Uranus, with its unique, innovative

character – squared Dylan’s Jupiter in Taurus, Sun and Venus in Gemini
– particularly Venus in this most productive period.

The Uranus transit was aided by Dylan’s Jupiter return in Taurus at the
age of 24. Transiting Jupiter then passed over all his Gemini positions
through to March 1966, with the release of Blonde on Blonde. Jupiter’s
influence here is the “prodigious songwriting” referred to earlier, a
massive output that had global impact; particularly as Jupiter activated
the natal Mercury in Gemini square to Neptune in Virgo, several times
during the same period.

Dylan’s output has been vast and space does not permit coverage of
other aspects of his life – this is a bare-bones offering to the “beatnik
bard” of Greenwich Village.

The song Jokerman, from Dylan’s 22 album Infidels, might be a fitting
tribute on this Gemini full moon or Christ Festival. Jokerman does in fact
refer to the Christ, but also many religious or spiritual traditions. Dylan converted from Judaism to Christianity in the
1970’s:

“Here’s the thing with me and the religious thing. This is the flat-out truth: I find the religiosity and philosophy in the
music. I don’t find it anywhere else. Songs like “Let Me Rest on a Peaceful Mountain” or “I Saw the Light” [Hank
Wiliams]—that’s my religion. I don’t adhere to rabbis, preachers, evangelists, all of that. I’ve learned more from the
songs than I’ve learned from any of this kind of entity. The songs are my lexicon. I believe the songs.”36

Hi Phillip, thank you very much for posting a part of the Buddha’s last sermon, I didn’t know him. Wonderful!!

I detect a clear second ray influence through Virgo: “Those who shall be a lamp unto themselves, relying upon themselves only and not
relying upon any external help”, Introversion, Self-analysis, Construction… Virgo (2nd Ray).

Already in Christ we can think that the same attitude is touched by Pisces (2nd > 6th Ray). Thanks Phillip!

An idea in relation to Europe has come to mind, if we look at what the last three transits of Uranus through Taurus have triggered, we
can think that for the horoscope of Europe (understood as a unit) Taurus has an important role.

Transit through Taurus 1850 – 1858 =

It was a very turbulent decade, as wars such as the Crimean War, shifted and shook European politics.

Transit through Taurus 1935 – 1943 =

Spanish Civil War and beginning of the Second World War.
In the First World War, Uranus was transiting through Aquarius, squaring Taurus.

And currently, (2018 – 2026) where Europe is in a deep crisis that we hope does not become a great war.

To finish, Bob Dylan is a great benign example of the enormous influence that the USA exerts in the world. Me, to be positive, (and
without denying the negative evidence), I want thinking that DK’s following words are true:

“A great future lies ahead of that nation but not because of material power or commercial efficiency, as many materially-minded people
think. The reason lies in a deeply spiritual, innate idealism, enormous humanitarian potentiality and—above all else—because virgin and
non-effete stock of largely peasant and middle class origin is determining the race”.

I was brought up on Bob Dylan (thnx Mum) I owe him so much (and Patti Smith) – (they are each other’s fans) – haven’t read yet, but

Having now read your Bob Dylan writings – its like what came first the Genius or the astrology – or did the genius choose the astrology
for us all – his planets in Taurus along with his 24th May cusp ? I wonder if that’s why those who attune to him feel his words so
profoundly that actual change can occur on the physical plane – There really is nobody else like him, for all those that try – many

There is an added part in the section discussing WHO’s Saturn in Leo:

“Saturn in Leo is capable of tyranny and the assumption of an unassailable authority, attempting a strict and rigid control. Hitler had
Saturn in Leo. This has been amply demonstrated in the past three years – by which it seeks to build upon in the near future.

The CIA also has Saturn in Leo on the midheaven, close to the same degree as WHO’s Saturn. The CIA – “a government within a
government”, that JFK tried to dismantle and paid the ultimate price. (See also The Maya of World Media and the CIA.)”

experiencing spontaneous Dylan lyric memories; what it was that kept my young child & teen mind open & wondering – how great it
was to meet other Dylan fans thru life – of course we knew he was great but its nice to know how & why – Many Thanks – Lynn
