According to Agrupis et al., (2019), dengue is a mosquito-transmitted, acute fever-

causing illness that poses a significant public health issue in tropical regions.

The Philippines reported 437,563 dengue cases, marking the highest number of

dengue cases ever recorder worldwide. (Ong et al., 2022)

According to the World Health Organization (2024), January 1 to December 2, 2023,

there were 657 deaths from dengue with 195,603 total number of cases.

Most people with dengue don't have any symptoms, but some can get a sudden fever

that might range from mild to very serious, including dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF)

and shock. (Kularatne et al., 2022)

So far, there isn’t a special drug to cure dengue fever. Hospitals treat the symptoms to

stop the patient from getting worse. If the symptoms are not too severe, the patient

should get plenty of rest (Aldila et al., 2023)

Numerous studies have identified a significant correlation between knowledge,

attitudes, and preventive practices (KAP) concerning dengue infection among

residents in endemic areas (Guad et al., 2021).

According to Podder et al., (2019), evaluating the knowledge of local communities is

essential for pinpointing gaps and creating culturally relevant and effective dengue

prevention and control strategies.

This study aims to determine the level of knowledge, attitude and prevention practices

of students in Guipos National High School. This study will be conducted in the

academic year 2024-2025.

Research Design. This study will use a cross-sectional research design. A cross-

sectional study aims at describing generalized relationships between distinct elements

and conditions. (Hunziker & Blankenagel 2024)

Research Environment. This study will be conducted at Guipos National High School.

This setting was chosen by the researcher as it is accessible to conduct the research.

Research Respondents. The students of Guipos National High School will be the

respondents of this study.

Research Instrument. In collecting the data, this research will use survey

questionnaires as the research instrument.

Introduction
 Nursing is often seen as synonymous with providing care and ensuring comfort.

Nurses play a critical role in upholding and delivering the highest standards of care.

Nurses have to deal with many tasks to improve their skills and dedication in their

everyday jobs. The hard part is that, despite all these tasks, they still have to provide

the best possible care. Despite being one of the largest groups in health care, there

are still a lot of vacant positions and not enough nurses. (Artificion et al., 2020)

There is a global issue of nurse shortages that affects healthcare facilities across the

globe. The World Health Organization has observed a notable lack of nurses on an

international scale. In response, many countries have created strategies, including the

recruitment of foreign nurses, to address the "nursing workforce crisis," resulting in a

higher number of nurses migrating to other nation (Soh et al., 2023)

According Beltran (2023), the Department of Health estimated in 2021 that 316,000

licensed Filipino nurses, or 51 percent of the total number of those qualified, had

migrated overseas.

The negative facets of work environment and job nature causes the dietitians’

dissatisfaction and demotivation toward their job, and their possible migration from one

sector/ field to another once the opportunity is available. (Elsahoryi et al., 2022)

Introduction
Skin care includes habits that keep the skin strong and healthy. A regular skin care

routine aims to keep the skin clean, balanced, and safe from damage or irritation. This

can be done with a basic routine of gentle washing, using moisturizer, and protecting

the skin from the sun. (Upadhyay et al., 2021)

People have different kinds of skin, so there are lots of different skincare products to

help them. But not all of these things are good for everyone. Some have stuff in them

that people can use to make them have allergies or give them headaches. And there

are fake skincare products that can be bad for the skin. It’s important for people to

choose a skincare routine that fits their specific needs, as different people and different

skin types require different care (Tay & Toh,2024).

There are many products available on the market, but not all of them are good for

everyone because of ingredients like scents and preservatives that can cause allergies

and headaches. Also, fake products are more common because of the internet. This

highlights how important it is for people to learn how to choose the right skincare

products (Tay & Toh, 2024)

The World Health Organization has listed over 1,000 skin diseases, highlighting how

crucial skin health is throughout our lives (Pilkington et al., 2020). It's especially

important to carefully care for sensitive areas like the face to prevent damage such as

redness, early aging, dark spots, and acne (Kouassi et al., 2022). These skin problems

not only affect daily life but also have serious mental impacts (Chilicka et al., 2022)
