I. ACTIVITY TITLE:
This activity will be called PASAVOGUE: A Novemberrific Way of
Connecting and Reviving the Normalista Spirit
II. DESCRIPTION
III. RATIONALE
The continued limitations imposed upon by the pandemic restrictions to
the student population of the university limits the opportunities for students to
build substantial connections and experience the lively school culture of Leyte
Normal University. There continues to be an existing challenge for the
Supreme Student Council to develop innovative and adaptive meanss of
ensuring that these gaps are addressed and alleviated -this activity aims to
address such.
The continued yearly celebration of the university-wide acquaintance
party in the midst of the pandemic plays an essential role in ensuring that the
student population remains unified and in-touch with the school culture. The
implementation of these ‘PasaVOGUE’ activities and conduct of a university
wide acquaintance party this year will signify the students’ renewed
commitment to the university and celebrate the unified Normalista culture that
binds us all.
IV. OBJECTIVES
This activity intends to build substantial connections between
continuing and new students and celebrate the lively Normalista culture.
Specifically, it aims to:
a. Acquaint the continuing, returning, and new students with the
Normalistas within and beyond their respective programs,
b. aid the transition of the new students into the university,

Bona fide students of the university will also have a chance to enjoy the
acquaintance festivities through the different virtual activities to be spearheaded by their
respective organizations.
In aspiration of the success of this activity, the following SSC officers will be

The Supreme Student Council proposes to cover the cost for the catering
service, rice, and water. In order to supplement the food necessities for
the activity, the council saw it fit to designate a potluck for each
organization to defray the food expenses. The designated menu for each
organization is expected to cover the estimated 498 participants for the
activity.

D. Board of Judges
The following are the recruited qualified judges for the different
competitions to be conducted for the Acquaintance Party. These judges are
experts in their respective fields and are well-experienced in the field of
judging. The council saw it fit to recruit individuals from external institutions to
ensure the integrity of evaluation. Each judge is entitled to a proposed
honorarium amounting to one thousand five-hundred pesos (P1,500.00)
stipulated in the budgetary requirements below.

This activity is expected to run the whole day with a projected start at 9:00 AM
and ending at 8:00 PM. The food allotment stated in the budgetary requirement
presented
above is in response to the need of the activity. Given that the activity is a whole day
event, the council saw it as a necessary courtesy to ensure that the rigor and strength of
the expected participants and guests are sustained by covering the costs of the food.
The council proposes to cover the cost of catering service, rice, and water for the
participants.

14. Winners will be acknowledged during the celebration of the Acquaintance Party
2022 on October 26, 2022, during the program proper. They will be given prizes
and certificates during the awarding ceremony.
PINAKAVOGUE NA PASIKLABAN
LNU ACQUAINTANCE PARTY MOBILE LEGENDS TOURNAMENT
Match Rule
1) A match refers to the games being played between team A and team B.
2) The mobile application to be used is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (Developer:
Moonton).
3) Match start- The team on the top of the bracket will have the choice for which
side they play. For best-of-three series, a coin toss will be made. The winner of
the coin toss will have the choice for which side they play on the first game of the
best-for-three series. The other team will choose sides on the second game.
4) Match Ends- the first team to destroy the opposing team’s base wins, the first
team to surrender loses or teams that are found not following the rules
disqualified.
5) The game mode use in: Draft – Pick Mode
6) If any player disconnects during a match that is hosted by the admins, they can
request a Facilitator to pause the game for the player to connect. The max pause
time of one team is one, two (2) minutes timeouts.
7) Once all players are ready, as indicated by both Team Captains, the Facilitator
will resume the game.
Disclaimer
1) Participation is at your own risk. PARTICIPANTS must follow the rules, use
caution, and take care of PARTICIPANT’S own health. Organizers are not liable
for any losses in relation to the event, directly or indirectly, for example in the
case of a canceled event, electrical failure or similar.
2) Each participants is a binding contract to abide by the rules or the ORGANIZERS
will reserve the right to ban the participant.
3) ORGANIZERS reserves the rights to without further notice change the rules.
4) Each PARTICIPANT must follow the instructions from ORGANIZERS, and
authorities.
5) ORGANIZERS will not provide the internet connection.
6) ORGANIZERS and FACILITATORS have the rights to change the guidelines in
any time at its discretion.
7) ALL PARTICIPANTS are not encouraged to have small gatherings for the
tournament and must OBSERVE the IATF Protocols.

10. Participants must send their entries on or before October 31, 2022, At

11. Video 60 seconds time Duration.
12. Selection of winners will follow the criteria shown below:
Creativity – 25% (Goodness and appropriateness of the music
used, filters, and cleanliness of the video
edit)
Transformation – 25% (Terrific transformation of the
participant; includes costume, make-up, and
the overall look of the participant)
Originality – 25% ( The costumes stands out the rest)
Quality – 25% (Definition of the video)
13. Selected judges will rate the participants’ entries according to the criteria.
Judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.
14. Winners will be acknowledged during the celebration of the Acquaintance Party
2022 on October 26, 2022, during the program proper. They will be given prizes
and certificates during the awarding ceremony.
b. The contestant should have his/her TikTok account and the entry set to public.
c. Contestants must send the link of their entries via SSC email ssc@[Link]
with the Organization’s name as a subject. The video should be renamed with
the
following format: ORG NAME_Surname of Participants (Ex: APSS_Badion,
Bagas, Misa)
[Link] Sine-Siplat promotional video competition is open for all bonafide students of Leyte
Normal University.
[Link] must follow the official LNU-Supreme Student Council Facebook page.
[Link] must register at the designated Google form created by the SSC office. It
must be accomplished a week before the deadline of the competition.
[Link] contest is in the group category (by academic and non-academic organizations).
Each group is allowed to compose an unlimited number of entrants coming from their
organization and should be bonafide students of Leyte Normal University.
[Link] participating organization is only allowed to produce 1 promotional video. The
video must promote, and showcase the breed, unity, excellence, camaraderie, and
diversity of their respective organization.
[Link] promotional video must have a total maximum running time of 2 minutes. Inclusive
of opening and closing credits.
[Link] video must be in English, Filipino, Waray-Waray, or any Philippine dialect (must
have English subtitles).
[Link] used for the film must be original, licensed, or in the public domain. Participants
must not use music with foul words and misleading meanings.
[Link] participant must submit their completed short film entries in a Flash drive, a week
before the actual event. Failure to submit the said matter within the time given will be
deducted with 5% of the total score.
10. The participants are encouraged to shoot their video entry outside their homes, or at
a public/ open area as long as it may not violate the IATF protocols mandated by the
government.
[Link] and costumes must not violate the student hand book.
[Link] to follow the guidelines will automatically be DISQUALIFIED.
13. Selection of winners will follow the criteria below:
14. Winners will be acknowledged during the Acquaintance Party. The top 3
best promotional video will receive trophy and certificates.
15. The decision of the judges shall be final and irrevocable.
