Judge ghelo: (authoritatively) Court is now in session. Ms. salazar, your opening statement.
prosecutor: (with conviction) Ladies and gentlemen, mr. rheybelle caraig is guilty of
murdering Aldrich dinglasa.
Atty ni wife 2: (calmly) Your Honor, we contend that the evidence is circumstantial and does
not prove Mr. caraig’s guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
rb: (nervously) I didn’t do it. I swear, I was nowhere near the scene.
wife: (emotional) aldrich was my everything. I just want justice for my husband.
Person in jury: (shocked at wife) Aldrich is your husband? Im his girlfriend!?
*wife was about to throw hands but the judged hit the hammer on the table
Judge ghelo: let us settle the murder case before we move on to further allegations.
Prosecutor 2: moving on, let us call the lead investigator and medical examiner to the stand.
Dr. investigator: (with authority) The autopsy shows Mr. dinglasa was killed by mister
caraig via suffocation.
Rb: (defensive) I object! Why In the world even try to suffocate him with a pillow?!
Atty ng wife: (direct & cuts off rb’s words) excuse me your honor.
Judge ghelo: you may speak.
Atty ng wife no.2: according to what dr. __ said, he never mentioned a specific object that
would have caused mrs__ husband’s death.
Atty ni rb: perhaps your detectives and investigators aren’t doing a good enough job to-
Atty ng wife: YOUR HONOR! Are you really going to let your honor be undermined
because of the implication that the investigators under your jurisdiction aren’t doing a good
enough job…?
Atty ni rb 2: its not that its just-
Judge ghelo: order in the court! (pak pak pak ng hammer) according to the written
investigation, the death was by suffocation while he was asleep. So the fact he knew that
mr dinglasa died via suffocation to a pillow is suspicious.
*Everybody sits back down
Proceutor: let us hear the what the jury has to say
Jury Foreperson Ms.: (seriously) We need to consider all evidence carefully.
Juror 1 Ms. : (concerned) The forensic evidence is troubling, but we must be sure.
Juror 2 Ms.: (thoughtfully) Remember, motive alone isn’t enough. We need clear proof.
Judge ghelo: (firmly) Both sides will now present their closing arguments. Ms proceutor
procecutor: (with emphasis) The evidence points clearly to Mr. Smith. Convicting him
ensures justice for dinglasa
atty ni rb: (pleading) The defense urges you to consider whether the prosecution has truly
met the burden of proof.
Judge ghelo: (conclusively) The jury will now deliberate
